Abstract :
-We want to fiend and to make sure that new method are
effected more than normal modality and does not have any side
effect or complication .

-We will combined Knee Braces with strengthening exercise

to approve it effect . So our study is comparative between
Knee Braces& Knee Braces with strengthening exercise for
treating incomplete tear of anterior cruciate ligament.

Introduction :
-Anterior cruciate ligament: A ligament in the knee that
crosses from the underside of the femur (the thigh bone) to
the top of the tibia (the bigger bone in the lower leg).
- The ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) major ligament in the
knee that work to provide stability in the knee
-The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is the most frequently
injured ligament of the knee.
-ACL injuries are most common during sports that require a
sudden change of direction, sudden, abrupt stops and starts
and lots of jumping. The most common treatment for a torn
ACL is arthroscopic surgery and ACL reconstruction
— - ACL injuries commonly involves imbalances of body
weight and malalignment of body position
-About 80% of sports-related ACL tears are "non-contact" injuries
— - Incidence is higher in men than women
— - The incidence in the USA is 200,000 annual ACL tears
-Injury causes pain, effusion and inflammation leading to the
inability to fully activate the thigh muscles.
.
 Literature Review :

 Effect of knee brace:

1- Avoid excessive motion ( hyper extension )
2- Increase knee stability
3- PROTECT KNEE

 Effect of strengthening exercise:

1- avoid joint stiffness and muscle tightness
2- Increasing the range of motion of the knee
3- Increase knee stability

Research Question :
Dose the combination of Knee Braces with strengthening exercise
more effected than Knee Braces alone for patient with incomplete
tear of anterior cruciate ligament ?

Method :
Subject :
1- Adolescent patient above 20 years till 30 Male .
2- Non-smoker without any other chronic diseases (diabetes
blood pressure ).
3-30 Patient divided into two group.

Place:
1-In university hospital .
2- K.K hospital .
3- K.A hospital

Equipment needed :
1- magnetic resonance imaging scan (MRI scan).
2- anterior drawer test and the Lachman test
3- Knee Braces
4- statistic programs and specialist.
5- Researcher assistance

Study Design : Comparative study

Significance :
-Social : we can treat these condition more easily if my
hypothesis became true and decrease the time that patient
visit the hospital .
-Scientific : If it came true we may can apply it on other
deformity condition .
-Clinically : Decrease the effort done by clinician &physician .
