Biographical Notes
Amadeo Roldän sas bor'n of Cuban parents in Paris, in 1900. He sfudied at the Real Conserratrrrb
Ce }hisica. Madrid. Spain. *llere he qas auarded the first prize in musical iheory in 1909 and the
{irst prize in violin -playing in 1916. In 1924 he became concert-master of the Philharmonie Orches
trz of Harana: in 1932 he sas appointed conductor of this orchestra.

Amadeo Roldrin wurde vot cubanischen Eltern im Jahre 1900 in Paris geboren. Er etudierte auf dem
Real Conservatorio de Musica in Madrid, Spaaien, wo er im Jahre 1909 don eleten PreiE in musikalischer TF..e
orie, und im Jahro 1916 ilen ersten Preis im Viotinspielen erhielt. 1924 wurde er Konzcrt - Meister des phii.
harrnonischen Orcheeters in Hävanal 1932 wurde ei zum l(apellmeists dieses Orchesters erhoben.
