1 to 1 of 3 profitable in 2002.
X Analyzed the value of relocating production of common products from 2 location
s, one profitable, one unprofitable, to a single location. Determined true cost
of ownership at each location. Calculated each facilitys production and relocati
on costs. Result: Close and relocate one facility to drive growth, operations c
ost reduction and profitability.
X Initiated action to implement a multiple source supplier system. Facility was
one of 7 in a corporation, and supplier information was not shared or available
to other facilities. Result: Reduced division supplier base by 10% and corporat
e costs by 6% due to volume purchases with multiple facilities.
X Developed and implemented a Strategic Alliance with the Supplier Excellence Al
liance (SEA). Provided Operations Management, Leadership, Culture and Workforce
Development improvements to the Aerospace, Military and Defense supply chain. Re
sult: Supported 30 suppliers for leadership and cultural change management, oper
ations management and work force SOP, to create jobs, positive delivery improvem
ents and cost reduction.
