Job: Objective: ICC Master Special Inspector

Skills: Over 80 months as a certified master special inspector (ICC) for soils,
reinforced concrete that includes shotcrete, masonry, pre-stressed concrete, str
uctural steel & welding, structural steel bolting and fireproofing. This work h
as included a focus on construction of tilt-ups, cast-in-place concrete, masonry
buildings, structural steel-multi floors, steel pre-fabricated buildings, under
ground water, highway tunnel and woodframe residential. Highest level of inspect
ion has been schools and hospitals. Work in Las Vegas includes projects Shadow M
ountain Shopping Center, Fountainbleau, Echelon, and Nevada Test Site to name a
few.
As an experienced senior special inspector I have become very detail orientated
and have learned to pay special attention and focus on the importance of overall
issues of detail and customer service.
Lifetime of light and heavy construction experience to include: shotcrete, concr
ete site grading, forms (residential, commercial, and civil projects), tilt-up c
oncrete construction, safe use of hand and power tools, basic residential electr
ical and plumbing, mechanical service and repair, welding (MIG, TIG, ARC), equip
ment operation, and general skilled trades background.
Heavy equipment operator: front end loader, scraper paddle wheel and push pull,
dozer, water pull, water truck.
Fork lift class 7, man lift, OSHA 10 and 30 hr., first aid and CPR certification
s.
CDL with all endorsements: Truck driving hauling freight (van and flat bed) runn
ing 48 and Canada for 3 yrs, ran Ca. pulling flat bed delivering sprinkler pipe
for 8 yrs. and hauling construction equipment local and state wide delivering to
job sites.
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Experienced in role of
team leader and site foreman. Experienced in conflict resolution and applicati
on of IBC, UBC and CBC including AWS D1.1.
Ability to set work schedules, prioritize individual and team efforts.
Honest, hard working and dependable self starter. Ability to learn new skills a
s needed. Ability to use of sub-contractor support and special contracted servi
ces.
