xed-fee indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts valued at $70 million
, in support of federally funded laboratory research for environmental cleanup e
fforts. Aggressively negotiated a contract value for a funnel and gate demonstr
ation at $1,346,988, $773,423 less than originally proposed. Administered a mou
nted robotic arm contract for an unexploded ordnance retrieval and detonation sy
stem that received national attention in the advancement of technology in the be
tter interest of human life. Negotiated and administered contracts resulting fr
om Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), Program Research and Development Program, a
nd Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR). Negotiated and administered $5 Mi
llion of vital engineering technical services involving F-15 and F-16 radar, and
air-to-air missile evaluation contracts which are key to weapons and tactics de
velopment and our national defense.
* Contract Specialist, Construction Contracts Branch Administered a construction
management workload in excess of $10,000,000. Procured and administered a varie
ty of construction contracts in support of Tyndall AFB, FL, that resulted in cor
rection of known environmental discrepancies and promotion of quality of life is
sues. Negotiated and administered a unique HVAC mechanical contract that demand
ed accelerated performance. Tenacious administration resulted in on time comple
tion of the project and no revenue lost for the customer.
* Contract Specialist, Services Contract Branch Procured and administered a vari
ety of service contracts to include systems, repair, custodial, and concessionai
re. Procured and administered over 160 service contracts for recurring services
and preventive maintenance agreements. Developed an advance contract plan that
insured no breaks in service. Expediently procured and administered a contract
for repair of a damaged fuel arm that was leaking fuel to a local bay, thereby
mitigating a severe environmental hazard. This matter resulted in only containa
ble spillage of hazardous materials and no downtime in scheduled missions, savin
g the government thousands of dollars.
* Contract Specialist, Commodities Contract Branch Administered a materials mana
gement workload in excess of $5,000,000. Procured all commodity requirements wi
th an initial value in excess of $100,000.
