designed. Review and approve all new and existing subdivision
right-of-way lighting proposals and insure funding of them. Creation

collection of Non-Ad Val Orem Assessments of subdivisions both new
and existing through the use of various software (databases and
spreadsheets linked and queried) and manual applications. Add or
remove laptops, PC's and various peripheral equipment such as
engineering plotters, engineering plotter/printers, professional
grade combination printer/fax/copiers, closed circuit camera
television video, and overhead graphic projectors to existing local
and wide area network using various installation software and direct
addressing as needed for various presentations by senior
Transportation Engineering staff to City Council. Designed business
systems to manage transportation impact fee accounts valued in excess
of $25,000,000 so as to meet Federal, State and Local auditing
requirements. Review and approve all Transportation Division electric
utility billing (TECO) with an annual budget of 3.64 million dollars.
Prepared thematic maps and aerials (both hard and soft) for
presentation to Other Department heads, Mayor and/or City Council by
senior transportation division engineering staff. Performed a variety
of engineering assignments involving construction compliance
inspections. Assignments included contact with the general public,
City Council, and senior staff of various departments with the
exercise of tact and courtesy, resolving concerns and/or complaints
in a timely manner. Coordinated project work with engineering

financial records systems (databases and spreadsheets linked and
queried) as follows: 1) Work order system that processed over 5500
work orders a year. 2) Utility repair billing system that processed
over 2100 repair invoices a year. 3) Human resource information
system. 4) Material usage information system for tracking costs per
job. Trained office personnel with no previous computer experience to
independently operate the computer and the systems designed. Prepared
and executed expedited bid purchases. Investigated property damage
claims and prepare department reports defending against frivolous
