airs Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
-Participate daily in the direct care of medical/surgical patients and work with

-Charge Nurse/ Staff Nurse on evening tour (3:30pm-12MN) on a 32 bed capacity un

-Administer prescribed medications intravenously, orally, subcutaneously, intram
uscularly, topically, rectally, and intranasally.
-Administer vaccines as indicated for routine or specialized requirements.
-Educate patients and family members concerning prescribed medications, immuniza
tions, and allergens.
-Educate patients, family members, and staff on precautionary and preventive mea
sures about Methicillin Resistant Staphyloccus Aureus (MRSA).
-Monitor and stabilize patients in routine, urgent, and emergent situations.
-Able to recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms on a 12 lead EKG strip, or by contin
uous telemetry monitoring.
