This tutorial will covers a guide how to setup and share your TMNet Streamyx connection by
using Aztech DSL 305e modem. Before proceed with this tutorial, it is highly recommended you
to ensure your modem is updated with the latest firmware.

1. Attach and connect the Aztech DSL 305e modem to any PC.
3. The browser will request the ID and password in order to access the Aztech DSL 305e modem
configuration.

Password = "null"
Note that "null" value here means that just leave it as a blank password. No need to key in
anything, just press the Enter key.
5. Click on Network Address Translation [NAT] under Advanced Configurations, and click it to
enable this feature.
8. In PPP configuration, please enter your username@streamyx and password. This information
can be obtained from the TMNet slip.
Enable "Auto reconnect when ADSL link down?", and set Enabled to "Enable auto reconnect to
ISP when lauching web browser?".
9. Under DHCP Client, and enable "Enable DHCP Client?" features, and include this value
1.1.1.1 in Host Name box.
11. Now we have done almost 80% of the Aztech DSL 305e modem configuration. Next is to
insert DNS information in the modem configuration.
Under Configurations, go to DNS. Under DNS Proxy Selection, select Use User Configured
DNS Server Only, and under User Configuration:

Preferred DNS : 202.188.0.133
Alternate DNS : 202.188.1.5
12. Click Apply.
14. Click Save button, and voila, your modem will reboot.
15. Finish!!
By assuming you used Microsoft Windows OS, just follow these instructions:
2. Under Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) option, make sure that you click on "Obtain an IP address
automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
3. Try to test your setting either working or not. The easieast way is by using the "ping"
command.
Example:

1. Ping the DNS server
#ping 202.188.0.133
2. Ping the other server by domain name
#ping www.freebsd.org
For other operating sytem [*BSD, Linux, etc], please refer to the respective OS documentation
how to obtain an IP address automatically.
