President / Owner
Managing the overall executive management, sales, operations, P&L management, an
d strategic planning for a taxi cab, courier and medical transportation provider
based in Elkhart Indiana with over 20 vehicles, 40+ drivers, 4 dispatchers and
3 office personnel. Established performance indicators, operating improvements,
management goals and cost reduction programs that helped increase net revenues f
or a bottom line profit in year two; all during a recession.
DELIVERY SERVICES INC, Elkhart IN 2008 - 2010
CEO / Owner
Directing overall executed management including sales, P&L management and strate
gic growth planning for a truck load carrier based in Elkhart IN. We have over
40 Independent Contractors and 18 company tractors working in several locations
across the country. We strategically partnered with Greatwide Management Servic
es in March to help grow our business and stabilize our financial burden while w
e try to establish a flatbed and brokerage division.
TOWNE AIR FREIGHT, South Bend IN 2006 - 2008
Director of Recruiting/Retention
Established a recruiting department by hiring and training east coast, west coas
t and midwest recruiters; built a company conversion program converting 250+ com
pany drivers to Independent contractors; instituted a lease purchase program thr
ough third party vendors; established a grass roots recruiting/retention program
to increase driver recruits by over 200% and stabilize turnover under 42%. I he
lped save thousands of advertising dollars by reducing needless advertising and
over $1 million dollars by changing the company fuel surcharge program and cutti
ng excessive contractor pay.
