Motion 1: THBT Advertising Has a Negative Effect on the Society

Greetings:

Thank you Mme/Mr. Speaker

A very good morning I bid to the panels of adjudicators, honourable opponents and members of the
floor. The resolution of the house today is Advertising Has a Negative Effect on the Society and yet the
Opposition speakers have stood before us today in an attempt to convince us that Advertising Has A
Positive Effect on the Society.

My partner and I, representing the Government, has clearly shown that the case about Advertising and
its Positive Effect on the Society presented is without merit. The Leader of Opposition basically said that
the resolution should fall because…

…………..OPPOSITION’S 1ST POINT …………..

Whereas my partner and I believe that this case will remain as ADVERTISING HAS A NEGATIVE EFFECT
ON THE SOCIETY. A case clearly not proven or substantiated by the Opposition who said…

………………1ST POINT’S EXAMPLES……………..

On the other hand, the Government has decidedly proven that this resolution is without merit and the
case presented faulty through our points that include…

……………….GOVERNMENT’S 1ST POINT……………….

It is very obvious to us that this resolution must and most definitely will stand!

If they say ADVERTISING HAS A POSITIVE EFFECT ON SOCIETY, we say ADVERTISING HAS A NEGATIVE
EFFECT ON SOCIETY.

Just like what have been mentioned by the Leader of Opposition, Advertising (plan… blah3)

Of course …blah3…, we as the Government are not saying that …blah3….

BUT if … it usually means that … (try to manipulate)

And besides, one of the Oppositions did say that … (blah3//their example)… not to mention…
(blah3//their next example) of course it’s a good point of view but is it (blah3//ask them back, try to
manipulate)?

Ladies and gentlemen, the Opposition stood before us earlier to say that (blah3//their NEXT POINT) and
in attempt to make a twist out of today’s motion by telling a fact that is not strong enough which is
(blah3//their EXAMPLE on the POINT). As one of the Government, I stand to make it clearly for
everyone that (blah3//one of the GOVERNMENT’S POINT) and with the facts that will support today’s
motion which is ADVERTISING HAS A NEGATIVE EFFECT ON SOCIETY by sharing a fact that
(blah3//EXAMPLES).

Members of the floor, one of the Opposition said that ADVERTISING (blah3//their NEXT POINT). But
come to realise the fact, don’t ADVERTISING IS ACTUALLY (blah3//try to manipulate and say the
truth)? So, does this mean that ADVERTISING HAS (blah3//try to manipulate)? One of my partners had
explained that (blah3//OUR POINT) and with a support of … (ideas)… by telling that (blah3//EXAMPLES).

So, it is obvious to us that this resolution must and will most definitely stand! Thank you.
