Personally conducted more than 200 Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance
(ISR) Sorties in support of combat operations for Marine Expeditionary Forces A
fghanistan with over 50 successful launches and recoveries. Recorded over 300 f
light hours with Zero loss of Scan Eagle Aircraft in six months. Monitored all
other UAV flight activities during mission and ensured targeting/video/customer
support requirements were met. Utilized checklists / prescribed methodologies to
operate the UAV safely.
Performed flight planning by gathering information on weather and aircraft (e.g.
, weight/loading of the aircraft, fuel reserve) and communicates to the Mission
Commander or ATC as required.
Performed level I ground maintenance and flight operations in adherence with app
licable flight regulations.
Completed all post mission reports to include mission logs, spot reports, mainte
nance requests, etc.
Established Supply policy and procedures for LD3 Scan Eagle Afghanistan Theater
as Logistics Lead. Moved over $20,000,000 of UAS parts to multiple sites in thea
ter via: Fed Ex, DHL, NAC, Fixed Wing & Rotary Wing Flights and Ground Convoys.
Conducted movement planning and operations for 25 Scan Eagle Air Vehicle Operat
ors to multiple sites in theater.
