On April 6, 2004 in an U.S. Attorney Office press release I, along with other pa
rticipating investigators in the Office of Internal Affairs, received recognitio
n for a joint agencies investigation with the Metropolitan Police Department and
the U.S. Attorney Office that led to the
Indictment and conviction of individuals in a December 2003 shooting scheme, des
igned to defraud the D.C. Government.
In May 2006 received the U.S. Attorneys Award in competition with various law-en
forcement entities in the East Coast Region to include but not limited to: The M
etropolitan, Capitol Hill and Park Police, the FBI, DEA, ATF, and other local, s
tate and federal agencies.
