lding codes. Possess working knowledge and application of generators and UPS sy
stems, Fiber Optic, low-voltage cabling, distributed and mainframe systems, desk
top rollouts. I hold a proven record of accomplishment in management of large an
d medium size build out projects.
As a Project Manager I have experience with Co-Location Sites and the contracts,
space allocation, power distribution issues and operational limitations that th
ese sites present and solutions they offer. I have successfully moved Endurance
Solutions of Connecticut to a Cervalis Co-Lo site in Stamford Ct. The project wa
s a re-design of their in-house data center and a relocation of half the server
s, SAN and Cisco 6500as to the new location. I successfully managed this move ov
er a two weekend move period and managed the power distribution and equipment la
yout utilizing the available power and leaving room for growth.
Investigated the options for Deutsche Bank and Citibank to utilize new co-lo sit
es with Digital Realty Trust to review sites, costs, carriers, power grids, and
Geographicas of the sites flood plains etc.
As Senior Project Manager on Team 2000 Rollout, I directed Smith Barney employee
s and consultants in upgrading desktops, laptops and bringing the house up to a
new Windows 2000 OS. Required to work with the desktop groups to insure all apps
on the new machines were correct and placed on the correct users new machines.
Project was Over 8,000 machines involved in this action, in addition to upgrade
of D/R sites in the tri state area and beyond.
Authored, and released detailed Request for Proposals RFP for numerous financial
institutions in New York City and tri-state area dealing with the construction
and full build out of data centers, trading floors and back office construction.
Completed detailed review of responses awarded and managed contracts. In depth
knowledge and experience in dealing with vendor relations to insure all product
s are on site in a just in time manor. I have experience with management of la
rge teams, with multi-culture backgrounds.
Example: for Citigroup Smith Barney, as a senior project manager successfully ma
naged network, data center and trading floor upgrades and re-builds concurrent a
t 7 World Trade Center, several other Manhattan sites, along with several upstat
e New York, New Jersey, and Delaware data center aHota upgrades and expansion. T
hese projects required management of numerous contractors and client employees.
I have successfully managed crews in excess of 400 electricians on three shifts
six-days per week. Provided one-on-one guidance and over-sight with the general
contractors and their staff to maintain fluid progression of the projects and to
avoid delays and conflicts.
Additional Tasks included; scheduling the re-deployment of thousands of Desktop
and Laptop computers for users. Accountable to insure proper applications softwa
re was loaded for the correct users, both at remote sites and as the groups move
d back into the 3 World Financial Center, retrieving the temporary machines, wor
king with vendors to verify users machines had all the correct info then scrub t
he temp machine hard drives.
EXPERIENCE a"
Technology Group Services October 08 to Present a" Opened new consulting company
and in November of 08 contracted with Citi Bank to decommission a 58,000 square
foot data center in Northern New Jersey. Required to work with company project
managers, end users, distributed and main-frame groups to relocate, virtualize,
retire, consolidate applications, servers, storage, main-frame, etc, to other da
ta centers in the New York metro area, mid-west and south west. Successfully man
aged the removal from service, shipments, and dispersed old equipment for retire
ment, destruction, reallocation all in compliance with E-Waste Management proces
ses to insure liability transef4rd correctly. All Time-Lines Successfully met an
d within budgets.
After successful completion of above project was asked to assist with metro data
center sites in the upgrade from Aperture 400 to Aperture 600. Currently compi
ling survey of metro data centers and correcting deviations of data in the 400 t
o 600 transitions.

Align Communications, New York - January 15, 08 a" October 31, 08 Senior Project
Manager assigned to customer projects responsible to design and build co-lo sit
es and move active trading data centers for several insurance and brokerage hou
ses in Connecticut for Align customers. Align down sized as a result of the a08
economy and as a result I was down-sized.

9.11 Team Member a" As a Senior Manager involved in Post 911 tasks, I have succe
ssfully executed the responsibility as the primary contact and facilitator for t
he American Express 9.11 Loss Assessment and Recovery LAR program. Responsible t
o provide proof of loss in data centers and back office throughout the 7 World T
rade Center and 3 World Financial Center due to September 11th attacks. Direct i
nterface was required with Gilbaneco and McClier Engineering personnel, to ident
ify insurance claims. Acted as Program Manager for the technology portion of the
claim and recovered in excess of $100,000,000 in technology claims for the comp
any.

DEUTSCHE Bank, NA May 05 a" January 01, 08 Senior Project Consultant as Senior M
anager responsible for the IT Facilities in New Jersey, strategic oversight of t
he different facilities power management and distribution, working directly with
the Bankas employees and building managers to effect non-interruptible power di
stribution to the sites. Responsibility includes insuring proper power, air-cond
itioning, and room environments. Acting as a Team Member for the Fed White Paper
for DR and Off Site Data Center construction and support, have authored Procedu
ral Manuals for all Bank facilities for Global application to serve as a templat
e for construction of large and small data centers. Management of bank projects
in New York, Boston, Chicago, and numerous New Jersey locations. Manage data ce
nter sites in excess of 140,000 square feet with largest site being 88,000 squar
e feet. This includes the day to day as well and annual UPS maintenance and equi
pment installs and de-installs. Manage client contractors and schedules along wi
th billing and scope of work details.
SMITH BARNEY/CitiGroup a" April 1994 a" Nov 1995 & Jan 1998 a" July 2001/August
2003 a" April 2005-Timely build out of Distributed Data Centers DDC in numerous
New York City and the Metro Area offices, additional tasks included project supp
ort for new Disaster Recovery sites. Build out / upgrade and expansion projects
in active data centers in 1994, 1998 through 2005. Part of the Team 2000 Rollout
group for upgrading desktops, laptops and bringing the house up to a new Window
s 2000 OS. Required to work with the desktop groups to insure all apps on the ne
w machines were correct and placed on the correct users new machines. Over 8,000

Data Center and Trading Floor project had me directly responsible for teams of
up to 300 electricians working both high-voltage installations and the low-volta
ge communications electricians on a three-shift six-day workweek. Responsible fo
r all change order tracking and invoice processing.. Chaired daily meetings and
scheduling with end users, technology groups, the general contractor for the con
struction of the 600,000 plus square feet trading and back-office floors along w
ith in excess of 58,000 square feet of data centers, supporting approximately 45
00 trading positions and 2500 support staff. Total budget was $290,000,000.
CS FIRST BOSTON a" Dec 1995 a" Oct 1997 - Project Manager/Communications Infras
tructure. Authored RFP, awarded contract to contractor, negotiated for material,
and pricing with multiple vendors and contractors. Design of 42,000sq.feet dat
a center and communications closets on 24 floors for the support of 6700 trading
and back office positions. Managed two electrical contractors who shared respo
nsibilities to complete specific portions of the project thus when complete prov
ided a seamless integration of UPS and communications infrastructure. Coordinate
d with the desktop roll out teams to make sure turrets and back office areas rea
dy for move in. Managed portion of the installation budget of $24,000,000.00 for
the original design and revised budgets.
AMERICAN EXPRESS a" Oct 1989 a" June 1991 Sep 2001 a" July 2003 Project Manager
for the installation of a fiber optic backbone for a 54-story tower in New York
City for which responsibilities included all phases of the installation, managed
team of 25 electricians for the install.
AMERICAN EXPRESS - Post 9.11 Insurance and client Recovery Team Member a" Repor
ting directly to aCa level persons in American Express and associated companies,
this position required detailed Loss Assessment for 7 World Trade Center and 3
World Financial Center voice / data equipment , supporting devices on floors and
data centers. Responsible to build data sheets showing the loss of the technolo
gy infrastructure and providing proof of loss along with providing cost to repla
ce equipment and construction costs to replace in aLike and Kinda the floors and
building infrastructure to bring the building back to a functional facility. On
-going meetings with Gilbane representatives acting as adjusters for the insuran
ce companies and successfully submitted detailed loss claims and client was comp
ensated for loss.
LEHMAN BROTHERS - August 1991 a" October 1992 Published the design and contra
ct RFP for the installation of an Unshielded Twisted Pair UTP from newly designe
d data rooms to the turrets at the trader desks on trading floors. I successful
ly managed the electrical contractor negotiations as well as product procurement
and implementation for client. The Implementation required new infrastructure i
nstalled on weekends and evenings and remove old cable plant after trading hours
on a live primary trading floor. I had responsibility for successful completion
, without any service interruptions of approx. 85 electricians
SHEARSON AMERICAN EXPRESS a" July 1992 Designed and published proposal to instal
l a fiber optic link between the headquarters location at The World Financial Ce
nter and 388-390 Greenwich St. New York City. Successfully designed and publish
ed documentation to for the World Financial Center to 388-390 Greenwich Street a
nd 7 World Trade Center complexes.
CHEMICAL BANK a" 1993 Managed the project plan for the implementation of a 500-t
urret installation for the bank.
TELERATE a" 1986 - Traveled throughout Europe to assist in the certification o
f their FX trading centers in Germany, England, France and Switzerland. Tested a
ll network connectivity from European sites to Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
QUOTRON/CITIBANK - 1987 a" 1987 Designed and managed the implementation of a cab
le plant for an innovative New York City office location for 500 employees, sche
duling the delivery of equipment into the site via construction freight and trad

UNITED NATIONS a" October 1989 a" 1990 Managed communications infrastructure fo
r United Nations missions in Geneva, Thailand, Nairobi and Ethiopia. This posit
ion required site visits to meet with local management and to assure the UN head
quarters in New York that long-term goals were met for voice and data communicat

2. NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT AUTHORITY - Project managed the installation of a new c
opper and fiber optic cable installation to support voice and data in a new 12 s
tory building in Brooklyn, New York.
MCI Communications - 1985 - 1987 Manager of Operations - Northern NJ. Responsi
ble included toll services and the switching center in addition to the fiber opt
ic backbone.
GTE Telenet - 1979 a" 1985 I held Position of Manager of Operations for New J
ersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Responsibility included heavy customer and T
elephone Company interfacing. All staff within the region reported to me in addi
tion all network switching offices.
