Our community has been granted money for the environment, for Landscape Restoration, which was one
of the priorities identified at the Community Forum in 2009. The Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund (VBAF)
has funded $100,000 to this community project and is being administered through Department of
Planning and Community Development (DPCD).
An Environment Work Engine has been formed to manage and fulfil the project objectives and would like
the individual community members to have input into this project under the stated guidelines.
“This project will provide an opportunity to come together for landscape restoration in this region. It
can also provide training and access to regeneration, weed management equipment, and build
conservation capacity and confidence now and in the future”.
