Provide a direct link between the District of Columbia residents, the Mayor's Of
fice and the Government of the District of Columbia. Accomplished objectives thr
ough relationships and correspondence with government agencies on behalf of the
Mayors Office to lead and facilitate delivery of ongoing city projects.
* Responsible for planning, executing and finalizing of projects following stric
t guidelines within budget. Coordinated the efforts of the entire team of consul
tants and contractors in order to deliver projects according to plan and budget.
* Project Manager for several city projects ranging from $500,000 to several mil
lion dollars per project.
* Leader of the multi-agency core team designated to fulfill multi-agency initia
tives aimed at improving the quality of life for residents and businesses.
* Report directly to the Mayor of the District of Columbia on a weekly basis. Ad
vise him of the status of various projects, community events, and the general co
nditions of the community in the city.
* Responsible for attending numerous events, press conferences, and school and c
ommunity activities on behalf of the Mayor of the District of Columbia.
* Serve as the Mayor's primary constituent service organization by providing com
plete, rapid, coordinated and documented responses to constituents concerns and
requests.
* Promote Mayoral and city initiatives such as town hall meetings, civic associa
tion meetings, construction projects, and other events designed to enhance the M
ayor's presence in the community.
