a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sin-Etsu Chemical Company, the wor
ld's largest manufacturer of PVC.
Lead and manage the construction and material procurement and control operations
for a $1 billion PVC manufacturer with overall responsibility for the manageria
l oversight of all aspects of construction purchasing, negotiation, and vendor m
anagement functions representing an annual spend in excess of $500 million. Coll
aborated with chemical and electrical engineers, construction and project manage
rs, warehouse and maintenance managers, and vendor partners in the coordination
of material deliveries and product and warranty related issues.
* Logistics and material coordinator responsible for the import, transportation,
and delivery of over $500 million in heavy equipment required to support a $1+
billion construction project.
* Accountable for the procurement and contract negotiations for a diverse range
of construction site products and services that include road work, civil project
s, piping and tile, metal and non-metal tanks, filter systems, valves, pumps, ex
pansion joints, fabricated strainers, MCC electrical stations, pressure vessels,
Teflon-coated sight glasses, electrical supplies, phone installation, wiring, h

gram with sole responsibility for the implementation, monitoring, security, and
authorization of card program and policies.
* Managed the inventory control system and purchase, stocking and retrieval of s

pment and furniture for the entire statewide operation, including the facilitati

ement of an excess of 26,000 communication devices with an annual expenditure of
