IT Analyst
For the last 3 years I have been working in the IT department as 1 of 2 data/sys
tem analyst. I work extensively with the software of our KBM system and monitor
and troubleshoot it to make sure it is working properly. I have advanced skill
working with EDI (electronic data interchange) systems in order to help automat
e several areas to help reduce manual errors. I have extensive knowledge of int
eractive queries as I make and distribute several of them a day in order to get
management the data that they need in order to make executive decisions. I have
had intermediate training and knowledge of help systems robot reporting which a
utomates reporting to run behind the scenes and distribute them automatically to
the necessary end users. I am very fluent with all aspects of the AS/400 syste
m from security to trouble shooting errors etc. I am also familiar with the Vis
ual ERP system as we use that in one of our external branches. I am the main con
tact for visual requests; be that extracts of data or again trouble shooting err
ors.
Over the past 4 years I have also taken advanced classes in order to continue im
proving my knowledge and capabilities in all areas from problem solving to actua
l technical and system improvements and am continually striving to increase my k

Buyer Planner
Working as a buyer planner for Avery Weigh Tronix controlling inventory and runn
ing some basic queries to help keep the system updated with new lead times lot s
izes and the like. Purchased inventory from both domestic and foreign vendors u
sing MRP reports as well as reporting I created from queries which I downloaded
into excel. Also am very fluent with EDI systems which helped to automate some
of the purchasing requirements. Managed several thousand SKU's from dozens of v
endors

Projects and Analysis/Purchasing Agent
In the last year of employment at A&I Products I was working in the Project and
Analysis area of the company. This involved extracting data from the AS/400 int
o spreadsheets for upper management to review. It also involved using said spre
adsheets to re-evaluate information using new criteria, and implementing formula
s to update the data for an upload back into the AS/400 (i.e. new product lines,
new pricing, margins etc.). I was involved in the inner workings of the AS/400
to determine possibilities for improving on the processes already in place (i.e
. more useful purchasing reports, inventory hot lists, receiving locations avail
able etc). I am extremely fluent in excel and am able to write programs for ext
racting information from several systems such as AS/400, Open Systems, and JD Ed
wards systems.
Prior to being in the projects and analysis I was working as a purchasing agent
for the previous four years at A&I Products. This involved many different forms
of inventory controlling. I extracted reports from the information that the sy
stem provides and made easy to read and understand spreadsheets for upper manage
ment (i.e. the owner and managers wanted to see only specific information out of
the wide range of information that the system can show). I managed several tho
usands SKU's from domestic suppliers but the bulk of the SKU's that I specifical
ly controlled dealt with foreign vendors from several countries including: India
, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Israel, and several others.

Receiving Coordinator
After two years of shipping and receiving I moved into the Foreign Candy Company
's inventory department. My original title was inventory coordinator. This inv
olved running MRP reports and analyzing the data they produced. As inventory coo
rdinator for TFCC I tracked, researched, and communicated inventory levels with
our upper management in order to maintain proper inventory levels. This include
d several spreadsheets that I made that detailed both incoming, outgoing, open o
rders and the like for discussion with each department in order to sustain effic
ient levels of product flow. I also assisted in maintaining our 4 external ware
houses and was sent to oversee the extraction of product from one warehouse to a
nother.
Summary of qualifications
I am a very quick learner and am extremely well versed in almost all computer re
lated applications. I have been working with the AS/400 in detail for 10 years n
ow and am excellent in all forms of the Microsoft office including Access and Wo
rd although I am most fluent in Excel. I have experience in several ERP systems
including previously mentioned AS/400, JD Edwards, Open Systems, Fourth Shift,
Visual Basic, and Phocas. I am a hard worker who loves challenges. I am a very
friendly outgoing individual who enjoys problem solving and strives to be the be
st at everything I encounter.
