tation of new manufacturing technologies into future products.

2001- 2004 Automation Concepts, Tucson AZ, President & Chief Technical Officer
After DT-Vanguard was acquired by EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering, Inc., I star
ted another product development and automation consulting firm whose primary foc
us was to work with start-ups to assist with the following:
* Mechanical packaging of the product/s
* Design their products for high volume manufacturing
* Develop manufacturing and assembly processes
* Concept, design and develop custom processing and automation equipment for ma
nufacturing

1999 -2001 DT-Vanguard, Tucson AZ - Ontario, CA, Division President & Chief Tec
hnical Officer
Sold Vanguard Technical Solutions to DT Industries, a $540 million dollar system
s integrator with 17 locations throughout the world. Retained by DT to build an
organization focused on the "high-tech" automation industry. After one year of
operation, the organization had over $9 million dollars in backlog, 20,000-sq.
ft. of facility (including a 1,000-sq. ft. Class 10 clean-room environment) and
42 employees. Customer base consisted of Disk Drive, Fiber Optic, Medical, Bio-M
edical, Semiconductor and high technology Toy companies. Primary focus was "Ult
ra-High Precision" assembly and developing a standard platform, high-precision a
ssembly product, the VECTORplace-2000, capable of +/- 1-micron passive placement
assembly accuracies.

hief Technical Officer
A process development and automation consulting firm specializing in advanced hi
gh technology assembly solutions.
Services provided:
* Survey and evaluate potential automation needs.
* Develop a process flow, mechanical concepts, and the equipment specification f
or the proposed automation solution/s.
* Survey and evaluate system integrators to execute the proposed automation.
* Mechanical product packaging.
* Specify and work with component providers for mechanical packaging components
