But I forbid my followers to use (cauterization) branding with fire.

Benefits of vinegar Ibn Al-Qayyim writes in his book, At-Tibb An-Nabawi, Vinegar is good for the spleen; it suppresses thirst, stops expectoration when the mouth is rinsed with it and it relieves the toothache and strengthens the gum."

Zamzam Water

There are authentic texts that indicate the usefulness of Zamzam water and that show its nourishing and healing values. It has always has this usefulness since Allah caused it to flow for mother of Ismaeel (peace be upon both of them). It is blessed water. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) said about Zamzam water, It is blessed (water) and it also serves as food. [Recorded by Muslim] It is authentically reported from the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) that he told Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) who had stays between the Kaabah and its screens for thirty nights or days and there was no food for him but the water of Zamzam. The Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) told him, It serves as food. Other collectors of the Hadeeth, add, in their version, And it is a good healer. Zamzam is great water that gushed out when Angel Gabriel struck the ground with his wing, and Allah allowed Ismail and his mother to drink therefrom. [Al-Bukhaari 3364] It was Zamzam that was used to wash the heart of Allahs Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him). Merits and benefits of Zamzam water are mentioned in many authentic Hadeeths. Among them is the following statement of Allahs Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him), The best water on the face of the earth is Zamzam water. It serves as food and it is a good healer. [Saheeh Al-Jaami 3302] It is equally recorded that the Messenger of Allah [blessings and peace be upon him] drank from Zamzam water, performed ablution with it and poured it over his head. The Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) would also hold Zamzam water in vessels and water-skin and pour it on the sick and make them drink thereof. [See: As-Silsilah As-Saheehah 883] The Prophets companion (Abdullah ibn Abbas may Allah be pleased with him) said, We used to call it Shabbaaah (that which satiates); and we used to find it a good helper in satisfying the familys nutritional needs (i.e. it is filling and with it one feels no need for food). It is satisfying to the children. (As-Silsilah As-Saheehah 2658)

In another sound Hadeeth, it is reported that the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) would say, Zamzam water is for what one intends to drink it for. [Ibn Maajah 3062] The scholars and the righteous people have tested this. They drank it for the purpose of having their needs met and attaining things such as healing for an indisposed person and removal of power and sorrow, and Allah actualized their desires for them.
