FREEDOM IN CHRIST
Date: 08-04-2011 Speaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: When you make a holy covenant with Lord Jesus Christ, He will reveal His power in the nation through you. No one shall rise up against you all the days of your life. Lord Jesus Christ, who did not know sin, shed His precious blood as a supreme sacrifice for you. When you make a holy covenant with Him, the whole nation shall open for you. Many years ago, a particular news was repeatedly broadcasted through the radio in Philippines. It was a heart rending news and an announcement followed it "This is a request from the President of Philippines". Immediately after that announcement, a terrible scream of a woman was heard which terrified everyone in the nation. Her heart rending scream was repeated through the radio but no one came forward to help her. Rev. Lester Sumral, who was doing the Lord's ministry in a small way, had compassion on that woman. Hence, he phoned up the radio station and said, "Sir, I can help this woman". Immediately, he was taken to the womans house. He rebuked the evil spirit which tormented the woman, in the name of Jesus. At once, the Spirit of God came upon her in a glorious manner. A great peace and joy lled her heart and she was delivered instantaneously. As a result, the whole nation rejoiced with her. The Lord opened the whole nation for that servant of God through that incident. All the national radio stations announced about that unknown servant of God. They said, "Lester Sumral came and commanded the evil spirit which tormented the woman, to leave in the name of Jesus. Now this woman is totally delivered". The President of the nation called Rev. Lester Sumral and thanked him. He asked him, "What can I do for you?" He replied, "Sir, I want to pray for people who are in such agony. So please allocate me a time in the National Radio to preach about the Lord". The President told him, "It is a simple matter. I shall grant you a prime time". He opened the National Radio freely for Rev. Lester Sumral to preach about the Lord and His love. The power of God descended in that nation mightily through the radio. Today, people who are wallowing in darkness are crying out, "Who shall come forward to help me?" A man or a woman who has made a holy covenant with the Lord, is the need of the hour to help such people. The Lord is not a respecter of persons. He doesnt look at your wealth, status, caste, religion, creed, name or even your sins. When you humble yourself like a little child and surrender yourself totally to Him, the blood of Jesus Christ shall cleanse you from all your sins (I John 1:7). The precious blood that He shed on the cross for every person shall cleanse all your sins because the life of a creature is in the blood (Lev. 17:11). If the blood of a person is puried he or she shall live (John 14:19).

Today, when you ask Him in faith, "Lord Jesus, please cleanse me with Your holy blood", He shall wash you with His precious blood and make a holy covenant with you. He will give His image and make you lead a holy life just as He led on this earth. He shall exalt you to such a position through this holy covenant that no man shall ever come against you. He shall be with you always and He shall reveal His power in the nation through you. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, You lived Your whole life on the earth without sin. Yet You shed Your blood on the cross on account of my sins. The Bible says that Your precious blood shall cleanse all sins. Hence, wash me with Your holy blood and make me holy. You have promised to give the nations as my inheritance. Use me mightily to perform miracles in Your name. Reveal Your power to the nations through me. Help me to spread Your gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen.
