Subtopic : Three Dimensional Shapes Previous Knowledge : Pupils have been learn 3-D shapes in standard 2 Learning outcomes : At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to : (a) To identify various types of prisms by seeing the shapes correctly (b) To labeled the parts of prisms by drawing the shapes appropriately (c) Describes the features of prisms by counting the edge, vertex, base and face correctly. Step / duration (min) Teacher will do a robot by Set induction (5 min) using the prisms Then teacher will show the robot to the pupils and question them The pupils also answer to the teachers question Then teacher will introduce todays topic to the pupils. Teacher will use power point Development Step 1 (15 min) to teach them. First teacher will introduce the prisms and its name to the pupils For the next steps teacher will teach the parts that have in Base face prisms. Teacher will show one by one the parts in power point and explain it. Teacher divides the pupils into Step 2 (10 min) groups. There are 5 members in each group. Teacher asked the pupils to show the materials that search in the internet Each of the group shows the pictures of the shapes. Teacher had prepared 3 stations to prepare digital scrap book with three different ways. Station 1 Expose the pupils to prepare a scrap book with the collected information of the pictures. pupils and ask them to come out with the mind map. Station 3 Pupils prepare cross word puzzle by answering the given question. Teacher will divide the pupils into groups There are 3 members in each group Teacher will distribute 3 types Step 3 (15 min) of prisms for every group. The pupils must count the features that have in the prisms After count finish the first prisms the pupils will raise up then teacher will check. Then they started to do the Face Edge Base Vertex next The first five groups who has do finish the features will get red color lucky star.
