ABSTRACT
The influence of Principal's Supervision And work Motivation on the performance of the Teacher in state of elementary School, Sunter Agung District of North Jakarta. The purpose of the research to observe the effect of principals supervision and work motivation together towards the performance of the teacher. Population is all teachers in state of elementary school of Sunter Agung district total 132 teachers. Sample is 60 teachers chosen by sample random sampling or simple random sampling. Variables that examined include Principals supervision and work motivation as direct variable, while the performance of teachers as indirect variable. Data were taken through a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple regression. The method used is descriptive survey method, it is a method of research to present the facts or the fact that actually happens on the field of the research. The results of the research showed that simultaneous principals supervision and work motivation affect teacher performance. This results shows that more high principal's supervision and motivation will be followed by more high performance of teachers, vice versa. The conclusion of this study is that a Principal is a leader who needs to provide guidance and supervision to teachers so that teacher performance can increased. Besides that, work motivation of teachers also need to be maintained and improved so that job performance can also increased. Suggestions for Principals is to further improve supervision to teachers such as improving the visit to the class.
