WORDS FROM OUR PASTOR

Stanley E. Woodfolk
Loving God and His People - We can speak with tongues of men and angels, have gift of prophecy, understand mysteries, and have faith--but, if we don't have love, we are useless. How can we say we truly love God, but not love his people. The Bible states, "If someone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he had not seen?" (The Maxwell Leadership Bible - 1 John 4:20) Can you love people even when they are not at their best? God loves you. Pastor

If My people who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn CHARLOTTESVILLE from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

WORDS FROM LADY PAULA

Why do we, as Christians, complain about how bad the world or society is? They are doing what they know to do, which is follow their flesh and carnal desires. Proverbs 14:12 tells us that There is a way that seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death. The question is what are WE doing? God wants us to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, THEN will He hear from heaven, forgive OUR sins, and heal OUR land. But we must remember that it is not about us. Its about God, and He has order in the way He does things. The first thing He says to do is to humble or submit ourselves to Him recognizing that He is God and there is none above Him. We then must pray constantly seeking Gods guidance through the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised us (John 14:16-17). It is only after we humble ourselves, pray, and seek Him that we can turn from our wicked ways. It is only with His help that we can walk in His ways. God will then hear from heaven, or in other words, be moved and forgive our sins. God will heal our land through US!!!!! God wants HIS people to possess the land and bring change. We cant just sit back and allow the devil and his messengers to run rampant through our land. Christians must speak up and be the example that the world needs and God expects us to be. WILL YOU BE THE ONE????? Lady Paula
