For a Particular Soul

Almighty Eternal God, in Your fatherly goodness, be kind to the soul of Your servant, (Name). Cleanse him/her whom You have called from this world of all his/her faults, take him/her into the Realm of Light and Peace and into the Community of Your Saints, and give him/her his/her share of Eternal Delight in Your Kingdom. God, You Creator and Saviour of all the faithful, forgive all the sins of all Your servants' souls. Let them receive forgiveness through our pious prayer, for which they have always been yearning. For this we pray through Jesus, Our Lord. Amen.

O Lord, You always love to distribute Mercy and Graces. For this reason, I never cease asking of You to think of the souls of Your servants whom You have taken from this world. Do not leave them under the power of the enemy and do not ever forget them. Order Your Holy Angels to take and lead them to their heavenly home. They hoped for You, they believed in You. So do not let them endure the punishments of Purgatory, but let them have the Eternal Joys. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER OF SUPPLICATION

O Holy Souls, as one truly devoted to you I promise never to forget you, and continually to pray to the Most High for your release. I beseech you to respond to this offering which I make to you, and obtain for me from God, with Whom you are so powerful on behalf of the living, that I may be freed from all dangers of soul and body. I beg both for myself and for my relations and benefactors, friends and enemies, pardon for our sins, and the grace of perseverance in good, whereby we may save our souls. Obtain for us peace of heart; assist us in all our actions; succor us promptly in all our spiritual and temporal needs; console and defend us in our dangers. Pray for the Supreme Pontifff, for the exaltation of Holy Church, for peace between nations, for Christian rulers, and for tranquility among peoples; and grant that we may one day all rejoice together in paradise. Amen.

O God, our heart is in deep darkness; in spite of this it is bound to Your Heart. Our heart struggles between You and Satan; do not allow this to be so! And every time our heart is divided between good and evil may it be illuminated by Your light and made whole. Never allow two loves to dwell within us, or that two faiths may ever co-exist, and never allow to dwell amongst us; falsehood and sincerity, love and hate, honesty and dishonesty, humility and pride. Rather, help us so that our heart may rise up to You like that of a child, Let our heart be captured by peace and may it ever continue to feel nostalgia for it. May your holy will and Your love find their abode in us, That at least some times we deserve truly to be Your children. And when, Lord, we do not wish to be Your children, remember our past desires and help us to receive You once more. We open our hearts to You so that Your holy love may dwell in them; we open our souls to You so that they may be touched by Your holy mercy which will help us to see all our sins clearly and will make us understand that what render us impure is sin! O God, we wish to be Your children, so humble and devoted as to become dear and sincere children, as only the Father could wish us to be. Help us, Jesus, our brother, to obtain the forgiveness of the Father and help us to be good towards Him. Help us, Jesus, to understand clearly what God gives us because sometimes we give up doing a good deed believing it to be wrong. *After this prayer, recite the Glory Be three times

Prayer of Adoration
Lord God Almighty, you are awesome! Hear our prayer of adoration...

Your magnificence is evident in all that you do for us. First you created us, in your image. You numbered the hairs on our heads! Then you provided for us. You cared for us to the point that you, full of grace and mercy, and altogether Holy; you who knew no sin, became sin for us. So we would be reconciled to you. No one, but you, the Most High God, could have come up with a plan like that! Then you kept us until this very hour, so that we could redeem the time that we have wasted, and freely confess of our sins. Master, we come to you right now, asking you to forgive us for wasting our time, on the cares of this world. Forgive us of the pride of this life, that we so closely guard. We ask your forgiveness, for not properly maintaining our bodies, the very temples of your precious Holy Spirit. We realize Father, that these are serious offences that grieve you very much. We are sorry, forgive us, so that we wont suffer punishment when the book of life is opened. Bring us into a covenant relationship with you, because we want to be your children. We want to be able to call you Abba, Father. Thank you for your mercy; thank you for your grace; thank you for forgiveness; thank you for the salvation, which you so freely give through Jesus Christ. We pray Christs precious blood over the tricks of the evil one, hes your enemy, and hes our enemy too. Hes a liar, a thief and a murderer. We praise you, that the blood of the Lamb has neutralized the works of his hand, and has left him powerless. Recognizing, that youre not finished with us, and that we are a work in progress, we ask you Dear Heavenly Father, to complete your work in us. Lord reform us, so that we may be used for your eternal purpose. Let your glorious light shine in us, that we may be able to break the bread of life, and share it with a sick and dying world. Now Father, we truly desire a revelation of your glory. Show us the mysteries of the heavens; the deep things. Heal us, oh Lord. We know, that you are able, because you are our Creator. Youre not only, the yardstick, by which everything is measured, you are the ruler! By the power of your Word alone, youre able to draw us nigh to your throne. We have a great Intercessor, his name is Jesus. It is for this reason that we offer up a prayer of adoration. In His name, we pray. AMEN!

Adoration Prayer
My Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You are really here in this Sacrament. Night and day You remain here compassionate and loving. You call, You wait for, You welcome everyone who comes to visit You. I thank You, Jesus my Divine Redeemer for coming upon the earth for our sake and for instituting the Adorable Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist in order to remain with us until the end of the world. I thank You for hiding beneath the Eucharistic species Your infinite majesty and beauty, which Your Angels delight to behold, so that I might have courage to approach the throne of Your mercy. I thank You dear Jesus, for having become the priceless Victim, to merit for me the fullness of heavenly favors. Awaken in me such confidence in You that their fullness may descend ever more fruitfully upon my soul. I thank You for offering Yourself in thanksgiving to God for all His benefits, spiritual and temporal which He has bestowed on me. Grant me grace and perseverance in your faithful service. Amen.

Prayer for the Thanksgiving

Father all-powerful, your gifts of love are countless and your goodness infinite. On Thanksgiving Day we come before you with gratitude for your kindness: open our hearts to concern for our fellow men and women, so that we may share your gifts in loving service. A Thanksgiving Prayer

Oh, God, when I have food help me to remember the hungry; When I have work, help me to remember the jobless; When I have a warm home, help me to remember the homeless; When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer; And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency and bestir my compassion. Make me concerned enough to help, by word and deed, those who cry out for what we take for granted.

Prayer for Deliverance

Jesus, I come to you as my deliverer. I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died for me and rose again. I confess You as Lord and renounce all influences of Satan in my life. Lord, you know the demons that oppress me, that harrass me, that entice me, that enslave me. I confess all my sins to you. (You must name them out loud before God). I repent of (turn away from) all my sins. I renounce any form of the occult or idolatry in my life or in the life of my ancestors (Name them to the extent of your knowledge of it). I forgive anyone who has ever hurt me in any way and I let go of any bitterness or resentment. (Name any such people whom you associate with personal pain and forgive them by name). I believe I am saved by the blood of Jesus and Satan has no further legal rights to my spirit, soul, mind or body. Through the blood of Jesus I am justified, just as if I never sinned. Through the blood of Jesus I am sanctified, set apart to God. Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Jesus you said whoever calls upon the name of the Lord SHALL be delivered. I call upon you. Deliver me! Now in the name of Jesus Christ I bind every evil spirit in or around my life. In the name of Jesus I command you to get out and leave me alone. Go in Jesus' name! (Now co-operate with the Holy Spirit. It may help to breathe out. After expelling breath a few times, the enemy will begin to manifest and he will be forced to leave. Use your will to force him out in Jesus' name. Then praise God for the results and get filled with the Holy Spirit).

A Prayer for Reconciliation Gracious God,

ruling the earth and its people not by terror but in love; we worship you. We confess that too often our words hurt others and our deeds are selfish; forgive us. In this time of uncertainty and fear, help us to love our enemies and do good to those who hate us, in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.
