Essential Qualifications : Bachelors Degree or equivalent degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication with 60% marks or AMIE (Section A&B examination) with equivalent grade. For SC/ST candidates only pass marks in qualifying examination. For departmental candidates (PTCUL) 50% marks or equivalent grade. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri Script). Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examinations may also apply provided they produce necessary qualifying certificates before tests/interview. Age: Age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01.07.2011. Relaxation in upper age limit: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC(non creamy) who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand and dependents of Freedom Fighters. Emergency Commissioned officers/Short Service Commissioned officers and Ex-Serviceman who have completed minimum 5 years of service in the Armed forces will get age relaxation of additional 3 years in addition to the years of total service rendered in armed forces. This age relaxation shall also be available to those Servicemen /Officers who are retiring from the Armed Forces within next 6 months from the last date of receiving the application. As per G.O. No. 1270 dt 11.8.2004 and G.O. No. 776 dt. 22.10.2008. age relaxation will be available for Uttarakhand State Andolankari. Reservation : Reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates is as given in the above table. Horizontal reservation will be as per the rules of Government of Uttarakhand. SC/ST/OBC reservation will be available only to the candidates who are permanent residence of Uttarakhand as perthe rules of Government of Uttarakhand. Selection Procedure: Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of final merit of the candidate in the merit list drawn on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the written test and interview. The written test will consists of objective type multiple choice question paper of three hours duration. The question paper will have two parts. Part-I having 50 questions to test analytical ability, quantitative skills, general awareness and current affairs. Part-II will have 126 questions on related Engineering subjects of BE level. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark and each incorrect answer will carry negative mark. Written test will be conducted at following centers: Examination Centre Dehradun Roorkee Srinagar(G) Almora Haldwani Code 01 02 03 04 05 Date and venue for the written test shall be intimated to all eligible candidates by post and will be published on website www.ptcul.org Selected candidate for the post of Assistant Engineer will initially be appointed as Assistant Engineer (Trainee) for a period of one year. On successful completion of the training period, they will be absorbed in the regular cadre of the corporation. General Instructions: 1. Application should be filled by the candidate in own handwriting in English CAPITAL LETTERS only on A-4 size paper in the prescribed format enclosed. 2. A recent passport size photograph self attested by candidate on front should be pasted in the space provided on the application form and two identical passport size photographs should be retained by the candidate for future use. 3. The Paper for the written test would be bilingual (Hindi/ English). In case of any discrepancy between two, English version will be relied. 4. Also, SC/ST/OBC Candidates of other states will be treated and should fill up application as General Category Candidates. They should submit the Demand Draft applicable under General category Candidates only.e. Acrossed demand draft (non-refundable processing fee) of Rs. 400/ - only in case of General/OBC candidates and Rs. 200/- only in case of SC/ST candidates in favour of Managing Director, Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd. Thread reels: Manufacturing of thread reels involves the following steps :- (a) Raw Material purchasing : Raw material yarn or thread is available in the market. They are available in the form of bundles of various colours.b) Unwinding of bundles. The hanks of bundles are opened. Then the unwinding of each hank of bundle is done using a hand winder. A bobbin is also inserted in the pin of wheel provided for the propose. When the hand winder revolves the handle, the thread is wound over the wooden bobbins and required to feed one reel making machine. (c) Reel winding: The reel making machine is mounted on a wooden table and is connected with a bolt which runs with an electric motor. Now, three bobbins are kept on a wooden stand under the table just below the winding mechanism. After setting the machine in this manner, three card board tubes are inserted in the spindle of the machine and one yarn is taken out from each bobbin, loosely wound on the three cones. The motor is started. The thread is automatically wound up on the tubes. When the reels are obtained of pre-determined thickness, the machine stops automatically. When the reels are ready, these are taken out from spindles and the same method is repeated for further production. The reels are then labelled and packed in card board boxes for marketing. 2. Thread Balls: (a) Thread preparation The bundles of thread is unwounded as described for thread reels. 6(b) Thread ball making. The cone is then inserted in the thread ball making machine. The end of the thread is taken from the cone and passed it through a size guide. The handle of the machine is rotated with one hand and the cylinder clutch is moved to right and left. After 7 to 8 revolutions the handle will be ready. The ball is then taken out and the same method is repeated for further production. The thread balls are then packed in cardboard boxes and marketed. WEB BASED COUNSELLING PROCESS FOR ADMISSION TO ENGINEERING/TECHNOLOGY/PHARMACY/LATERAL ENTRY (ENGINEERING)/MBA/MCA STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE FOR WEB BASED COUNSELLING
(Further details can be seen in website: www.odishajee.com). After receipt of RANK card the candidate has to follow the following steps for web based counseling for admission to different courses as mentioned above. * Any candidate who has not received or has lost his/her RANK card can collect a duplicate RANK card from JEE Cell Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar by paying a fee of Rs.200/-(Rupees Two hundred Only) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of OJEE-2011, drawn on any scheduled Bank and payable at Bhubaneswar. For collecting the duplicate Rank card a candidate must bring the admit card-of OJEE-2011 or any proof of his/her identity. REGISTRATION AND CHOICE FILLING (FROM ANY COMPUTER WITH INTERNET) STEP-1 :i) Go to website www.ojee.nic.in and click at NEW REGISTRATION. ii) Register yourself by selecting the appropriate course and then enter Application number, Roll Number, Date of Birth, 16-digit Barcode number provided in the RANK card. After entering the data next step will be followed with a new screen. STEP-2 :i)In this screen all the data provided by the candidate during submission of application will be displayed and some new fields will be asked to be filled by the candidate. Candidate has to enter the fields like address, mobile number for future communication and SMS etc. Now the candidate has to enter the password and again re-enter the same password in the confirm password box. Remember and keep the entered password which is confidential and shall be used for future use like choice filling, viewing mock counseling result, viewing result details etc. STEP-3 :Verify the registration details entered by you. If found to be incorrect, click edit registration, edit the incorrect data and make it correct. If found correct, click confirm registration box. Next you will see the sure box, click ok button and this completes the registration process. In the next screen click the PRINT DETAILS button to get the printout of the Registration Slip. Keep it to produce at the Nodal Centre during document verification. STEP-4 : After successful registration, the candidate has to click the Fill Choice button given in the MENU bar of the screen. Next screen will come with some Instructions, Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully and then proceed to the next screen for choice filling. This screen contains two blocks. The Left block contains list of all colleges and branches in alphabetical manner. In this block the colleges can be listed according to Govt./Pvt./District or All. The Right block will contain the choices of the candidates. Candidate can ADD his/ her choices of colleges and branches from the left block by two methods. (Multiple addition using ADD MULTIPLE BUTTON orAddition of one by one using ADD button.) Select as many as choices of Institutions and branches on priority basis to have better option for allotment of a seat in the process. During choice filling process save the choices in regular interval using SAVE button, v) After completing the choice filling save and take a print out of Filled in Choice Slip to produce at nodal centre during choice locking. After choice locking a print out will be given to the candidates with signature of nodal officer and the candidate. Document Verification and Locking of Choices (at the Nodal Centre). STEP-5 : Important: Each candidate has to deposit an amount ofRs.450/- towards counselling fee in shape ofDD drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of OJEE-2011 and payable at Bhubaneswar at assigned nodal centre. i) Report at the assigned Nodal Centre with original and photo copy of necessary documents as per list mentioned in Counselling brochure along with registration slip and filled in choice slip for verification in scheduled date and time, ii) Submit a set of self attested Photo copies of said documents and take back all original documents after verification and collect the verification slip. iii) Report at the computer counter for CHOICE LOCKING and collect choice locking slip signed by both the officer-in charge and the candidate. Note:- Do not forget to lock the choice at the nodal centre, failing which the seat allotment shall not be considered. Provisional Seat Allotment (First Round Allotment). STEP-6 Important: The allotment of seat will be based on best fitment of the rank, choice and category/reservation of the candidate. i) Provisional first round allotment will be available as per the scheduled date and time given in the OJEE website and newspapers. ii)Allotment of seat will be intimated through SMS to the candidate's mobile number (if filled up during registration) iii) Candidate can download his/her provisional seat allotment letter from the website. While downloading the provisional seat allotment letter, a fee deposit slip will be generated and the candidate has to take the print out of the slip and will submit the filled in slip along with requisite part admission fee (Bank Draft of Rs. 16000/- for allotment in Govt. Colleges and Rs.30,000/- for allotment in Private Colleges drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of OJEE-2011, payable at Bhubaneswar) at the nodal centre within the stipulated period as per the Web Counseling Schedule in the OJEE website and the newspapers. iv) The candidates, who deposit the part admission fee at the designated nodal centres after the provisional allotment will be considered as Reporting Candidates and will be processed in the Second Round for final seat allotment v) For Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) candidates, two seats will be provisionally allotted, one from TFW seats and the other from non-TFW seats. The candidate has to opt for only one among the two seats. After giving the option, a provisional seat allotment letter will be generated and the candidate can follow the above step (iii).Note: The Tutlon Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme Is applicable to Bachelor Programs of Four Years duration such as B. Tech and B.Pharm. Sons and daughters of parents whose annual Income from all sources Is less than Rs.2.5 lakhs are eligible under this scheme. The waiver is limited to tution fee only. vi) If any candidate fails to deposit the requisite bank draft at the assigned nodal centre in due time, his /her provisional seat allotment will be automatically cancelled and he/she will not be considered for the upgradation process in the Second Round and final seat allotment as he/she is considered to be out of the system. (Such candidates will be considered as Non-reporting Candidates). Note: The candidates are advised to think Judiciously before Filling the choices. The candidate may accept or not accept the allotted seat by paying or not paying the requisite tee at the nodal centres in due time. Final Seat Allotment (Second Round Allotment). STEP-7 : i) The registered SC/ST candidates who are not allotted any seat can change (add/alter) their choices. ii) Fresh registration of SC and ST candidates will be allowed only for those rank holders who have not at all registered.STEP-8 : i)The vacant seats arising due to non-reporting by candidates after the first round provisional seat allotment, shall be finally allotted to the following category of candidates: (a)Reporting candidates (who have deposited the Bank Draft towards the part admission fee after the first round) for their better choice in order of priority through auto upgradation process.
