Film Submission Guidelines THE 3rd STREET FILM FESTIVAL will be accepting films of all genres
starting on July 15th, 2011. No form of nudity will be accepted. Films must be produced and filmed in Louisiana. Films must be under 32 minutes in length to be accepted for review. Short films must include casting credits. The filmmaker must include their name and age when submitting the
film along with the city/cities it was filmed. A number of films will be selected for the festival. Submission Deadline: Film submissions must be received by
November 14th, 2011. All foreign language films must be in English subtitles.
Awards and Prizes Guests of THE 3rd STREET FILM FESTIVAL will vote on their
favorite films at the end of the night, followed by the announcing of the winners. Prizes will include some of the following: gift certificates to
local businesses, electronics, film gear, hotel stays, and Airline vouchers.

With Louisiana dubbed as Hollywood of the South, we are quickly earning its place as a top tier filming location. Louisiana is currently ranked 3rd in the nation for total number of film productions (Louisiana Entertainment Office, 2010)

will take place at The Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for
the Arts in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on the night of December 30th, 2011. o Why should I submit a film to THE 3rd STREET FILM FESTIVAL? It will be a unique opportunity to showcase your creative ability and put it into the film form. These films will then be presented to the professionals and enthusiasts of the film industry. By taking advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity you will get a chance most filmmakers never get- the ability to have their name known in the industry. o Is there a entry fee into the THE 3rd STREET FILM FESTIVAL? o Who will be reviewing my film for the festival? There will be a panel of judges that review each film with careful consideration. This panel will grade each film according to the following criteria - cinematography, acting, dialogue,

soundtrack, originality/creativity, and overall quality of production. The films with the highest overall score will be selected for entry into THE 3rd STREET FILM

o What genres of films are being shown at THE 3rd STREET FILM FESTIVAL? The call for entries is wide open, as far as genres of film, we are looking for everything from documentary films to experimental works. As long as the film meets our length requirements we will review it. o What should selected filmmakers bring to the event to setup their designated booth? Filmmakers should bring copies of their films, contact information, and whatever else they feel attendees might like to see, or know about their film. (All merchandise for sale, including, but not limited to, Films, DVDs, and T-Shirts will have to be cleared by The Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts prior to the premiere) o Where is THE 3rd STREET FILM FESTIVAL ?
