Start FS2004 PLEASE NOTE! you MUST not have changed the original FS default flight, if you have it will cause problems, please reset it to Flights/other/ 'FLTSIM.FLT' click 'SETTINGS', International, set to U.S. System, click OK 'SELECT a FLIGHT', select PSS772LRkbfi 'FLY NOW' The 777-200LR Boeing House livery (non VC) will load near runway 13R. After a few seconds the panel will set 'Cold and Dark'

this brings us to the ENGINE STARTUP procedures LEFT ENGINE START the normal procedure is to start the LEFT engine first using APU bleed air set DSP to L INDB ENG press and hold 5 on your keyboard numberpad to open the OVERHEAD panel rotate L START selector to START

release 5 to close the OVERHEAD panel L/R PACKs auto switch to OFF L START valve opens providing bleed air to the starter motor, indicated by N2

open RADIO panel TRANSPONDER set TRANSPONDER to 5515 set TCAS mode to TARA mode RA not modelled WEATHER RADAR set Windshear prediction to AUTO *Wind shear prediction is only usable for takeoff and final approach, range is limited to 5NM and can be displayed only at 2500ft AGL or below set GCS (ground clutter suppression) to ON Mode to TEST press WXR map switch (EFIS panel) to powerup WXR TEST -0 will display on ND, and a test pattern will display set mode to WX/TURB, WX+T -0 will display *changing any control delays the display by one sweep after a few seconds the test pattern will remove set Tilt to +5 *A proper tilt setup is mandatory for weather radar usage. The tilt is the parameter, with that you control where you want observe at a certain altitude wxr display colors green, lite precip amber, moderate red, severe magenta, precip+turb close RADIO panel
