May 2011 Newsletter From Brush Arbor Church To Beautiful Tabernacle

A few Zoranger Saints

This newly constructed church at Zoranger was a dream come true for hundreds of Haitians who have worshipped under a brush arbor for more than twenty years They had prayed and earnestly sought the Lord that He would provide a shelter free from the elements such as the rain and from the scorching sun. This congregation is a two hour drive from the Northeast of Port au Prince and is truly in the countryside The people so impoverished that they rarely saw money Several miracles transpired after the Lord spoke to my heart. First, the initial sponsor was moved upon to contribute and the work was begun. Then the government developed a road directly in front of the church as you can see in the picture. This was a great blessing because everyone travelling must pass the church. Three weeks ago we were able to see the church completed debt free. We wish to thank the initial donor and all who followed including a work team of 14 men from Louisiana under the direction of Brother John Kimball With the material on hand the roof was installed in less than three days . This is an hour when Gods people must learn to network with all of their talents and their gifts so that the church can grow Believe me, the church at zoranger has the attention of the whole countryside, There is nothing in that area to compare to this building which will accommodate 450 people. We want it to be truly a lighthouse for soul winning and training for the ministry. Family of God Church Topeka, Kansas where my son in law Rev Rusty Mayfield pastored for ten years made a generous donation of beautiful stackable chairs for our churches in Haiti. Additionally they collected five medical examination tables for our Christian Doctors in Haiti for their clinics and this past week one of our good associates Rev Jim Yates from Oceola, Missouri brought his new truck and trailer and delivered the load for ocean shipping at New Orleans, LA Thank you and God bless you from all of our saints at Zoranger. We currently have five churches under construction and reconstruction from the earthquake damage We also have two orphanages with one hundred displaced children waiting for us to complete their living quarters Hopefully it will soon be out of the tents and into permanent buildings again. We have encouraged the children to continue in prayer and faith believing that God would speak to His people to help make this possible We watch them cry out to the Lord and actually weep as they make intercession Life is very difficult in Haiti and it takes real faith to stand the test of each day I always tell them to pray for our supporters because they provide only as God provides to them. We wish to thank you again for your faithful monthly contributions. Mary and I and our associates continue to represent you on the mission field that God will be glorified. Brother Max Manning
