June 24, 2011 - There have been some inaccuracies reported in regards to my diagnosis with Graves Disease, so I wanted to clear things up. I was diagnosed with Graves Disease about three years ago but it really hasnt slowed me down at all. I rocked my performance on VH1 Hip Hop Honors tribute to Timbaland last year. Ive written and produced a bunch of Grammy-nominated, #1

hits for artists like Keyshia Cole, Monica and Jasmine Sullivan. I toured the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. And on top of all that, Im working on my new album. I feel great. Under my doctors supervision, Ive been off medication for about a year and Im completely managing the condition through diet and exercise. -- Missy Elliott

DEAD KENNEDYS FURIOUS WITH HEINEKEN OVER UN-AUTHORIZED USE OF MUSIC TO PROMOTE BEER
As recently reported by a host of news agencies, Heineken was forced to remove an advert which featured a cover of the Dead Kennedys Too Drunk To F*** because of complaints it would e n c o u r a g e b i n g e drinking. Heineken had used the song in a commercial tie-in to promote its beer in banner advertisements broadcast via the popular music website Spotify. Spotify had been running a series of banner advertisements, which directed users to a special lounge style playlist as part of a campaign for the beer Kronenbourg 1664. One of the tracks used was the Dead Kennedys Too Drunk To F***, which attracted a number of complaints to the independent advertisers from encouraging irresponsible or immoderate drinking. Dead Kennedys emphatically deny that they ever gave Heineken permission to use the song. The bands attorneys have contacted Heineken to address the unauthorized use. Dead Kennedys have never authorized any company to use this song or any of the bands songs to promote a consumer product (let alone the consumption of alcohol) in this or any advertisement.
