After meeting the leader of the people , Daw Aung Sun Su Kyis ,

We saw the indication of happiness and sadness on Daw Suus face when saw our monks, students and the people. After meeting the leader of the people , Daw Aung Sun Su Kyis , we saw that 88 generation students,

young men and women, patriontic people and some young monks, members of our association, broke down and cried.

After crying for a while, the public recovered and regained their spirit, shorting slogans repatedy: May Mother Suu be in good health! Success to the Democracy Struggle! Success to the Democracy Stuggle! then they marched back towards maha Aungmye ( Great Victory Place ) at the northem entrance. The time was about 5.00p.m.

At 11.30 p.m, on 23 September 2007, our monks and several people gathered at the meeting point at the Kyethon Pagoda located at the eastern entrance of the Shwedagon Pagoda. At that time, som members who were working with us held an emergency meeting very quickly to assign tasks among 20 monks regarding imposing disciplines in 10 townships.

The reason of assigning two monks for each township was to prevent vilence during the peaceful march of the monks and the people. This is to make to make the world know that we will be peaceful and disciplined absolutely through out the peaceful saffron revolution until the very end. On this same day we starting holding public speeches at 2.30 pm. The poet, Ko Aung Way who is now in Thailand, gave the inauguration speech to the public. In his speech; I appeal to the people to stand together, bravely and steadfastly behind the demands of the saffron revolution of the monks. I will fight this incomplete democracy straggle together with the people. He said very bravely and precisely.

The second speech was given by Ko Kyaw Kyaw , Chairman of ABFSU Dear students of respective Basic Education middle schools, high schools and universities! Our brothers know that throughout different periods in Burma, students have been fighting against any bad repercussive system.

Since the military coup of free and prosperous Burma in 1962, our civilized and honest grandfathers, grandmothers. Parents and siblings

are suffering bitterly and sadly from much repression from the military group. There is no freedom and no justice. Moreover, it is time that our people could no longer tolerate the selfishness of the self-serving military government which is dragging the country into the cauldron of hell by making it poorer which makes the people of Burma could not show their face in front of the people of the world.

Therefore, it is a very noble honorable act that our students are sacrificing numerous lives in fighting against the unjust military government for our beloved parents who are the people of Burma.

In the previous 8.8.88 democracy movement , our elder brothers gave many of their lives for the people. Now, on 23 August ( 23.09.2007) , what I like to appeal to my brother students for the last time is this; please continue the revolution by peaceful method to have a just and democratic state established in Burma. He said in his speech.

The third speech was given by Ashin Naymida from All Burma Monks Representatives Association. In his speech, please have unity among the monks, students and people. Be in harmony. Be in accord. I appeal to the

students and people to join the monks in this struggle in unison without leaving
