RESEARCH EXPERIENCE AND INTERESTS

I am interested in molecular plant pathology, plant microbe interaction and biological control of the diseases. In MSc, I worked on "Induction of systemic resistance in lentil against Fusarium wilt by seed bacterization with rhizobacterial isolates".

During internship in an agricultural research organization as a part of my BSc degree, I worked on various diseases and pathogens that included wheat rust, powdery mildew of wheat, downy mildew of onion, Alternaria leaf blight of tomato etc. This work was of basic and applied nature. My future plans are to work on molecular plant pathology and strengthen myself in research area.
