ABSTRACT Scope For the research paper, I had looked on several websites and some books for information

on Global Warming. Global warming has its toll on man-kind, animal, and plant species of Earth. Some of these tolls are that temperatures are increasing, killing species of disease and habitat loss. Global warming may cause mass flooding in the near future if no efforts are made to stop anymore greenhouse gases from being released into the atmosphere. The books helped me understand the greenhouse effect more thoroughly and helped me learn more on the future effects and toll that global warming might or might not bring. Purpose I chose this topic because people dont know the real cause of global warming which is the pollution that we are letting into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels and other non-renewable resources. Also because some awareness should be made to end this catastrophe, as it is a terrible issue that this worlds leaders need to deal with this issue, if we wish to end this problem it will have to be a global effort to stop emission rates and make things more eco-friendly also stopping the burning of fossil fuels would also help us in our struggle to end the global issue know as Global Warming.

Results In my research, I have found that air pollution which is caused by greenhouse gases causes an increase in temperature because the ozone layer is being destroyed by these gases. Ultraviolet light and other greenhouse gases were usually mostly blocked off by the ozone layer in the atmosphere, but air pollution such as carbon dioxide has burned through some layers of the ozone layer and now since there is a hole in our ozone layer, UV light is being let in that is causing a gradual increase in temperatures worldwide, melting ice-caps and rising water level worldwide.

Contents of the work This research paper includes the cause and reason why global warming affects the species of Earth so much. This paper also includes what might be the future effects in global warming such as the ice caps of the Earth melting even more causing water levels to increase. Also a decrease that has been studied over the years of some species of animals, due to their loss of ecosystem, this decrease in population in some animals might lead to total extinction.

Global Warming A Look into the Worlds Climate Change

Over years, global warming has been observed as the rising in global temperatures. And the melting of polar ice caps. This change is due to the fact that pollution specifically air pollution which is caused by burning fossil fuels and non renewable resources such as oil gas etc is letting out Co2 or Carbon dioxide into the air, this carbon dioxide is burning away at the ozone layer making us more vulnerable to outside heat such as UV or ultraviolet rays from the Sun. This UV light is being let into our planet by the gaping hole in our planets ozone that lies in Earths atmosphere thus making the greenhouse effect even more intense. UV light cause UV radiation can damage the DNA of an organism. The DNA of an organism contains the information that determines the traits that an organism inherits and needs to live. The greenhouse effect is supposed to keep Earths temperature in check and keeps Earths temperature suitable for life. The greenhouse effect occurs when sunlight enters our planet it is absorbed by the clouds and by Earths surface. Then the clouds and Earths surface reradiate the solar energy as infrared energy. This energy is released as heat waves and the long-wave energy warms Earth and the atmosphere, but with Global warming and the increasing amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, temperatures increase even more than usual and the polar ice caps eventually melt and the melting process of these caps are gradual soon over time, water levels rose and will probably continue to rise shall there be no stop to this, flooding countries and possibly even continents world-wide.

The Extreme Effects of Global Warming

The extreme effects of Global Warming would be that first the direct exposure to UV light onto a human beings skin is the possible effect of wrinkly skin, skin cancer, and the weakening of the immune systems response. Another major effect Global Warming is having is that now the polar ice caps are melting. The polar ice caps hold a major part of Earths water, these ice caps melting would cause a major increase in water levels. This increase in water levels could cause major flooding of many continents. Species of animals are being left without an arctic habitat and are dying and depopulating. Precipitation rates have also increased world-wide, indicating that water levels are rising. Along with precipitation rates, storm and natural disaster rates are also increasing, there might be a correlation between global warming temperature rates and disaster rates.

Snowmageddon According to environmental activist, Al Gore states that with the global temperatures rising the whole worlds temperatures and condition is out of the normal going from boiling summers to freezing winters because of extreme temperatures. Global warming is most possibly causing this extremity in temperatures as temperatures are rising during summertime from where they were before and also these temperatures are dropping every time we have a cold season, Warmer air holds more moisture. This fact is apparent when you see water vapor hanging in the air after turning off a hot shower. When warm air holding moisture meets cooler air, the moisture condenses into tiny droplets that will fall as precipitation, rain or snow, depending upon atmospheric

conditions. Turning all the warmer air into cooler air over time, this cooler air is evident during our winter seasons. If global warming continues, average temperatures will surely become more and more extreme over time.
