ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED!


There will be an Annual Altar Server Meeting and New Altar Server Training, Sunday, September 11th (New date), after noon mass, from 1:30 to 4:00pm in the church. AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS


Come join us in "Building Women of Integrity through service to God, family, community and country." American Heritage Girls is a Christcentered character building organization for girls ages 5-18. AHG offers badge programs, service projects, girl leadership opportunities and outdoor experiences to its members. During the school year, we meet at St. Andrew Catholic Church every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 7pm. MUSICIANS NEEDED
We are in need of experienced instrumental musicians who would like to audition to minister every Sunday at the 5:00pm Life Teen Mass. We are in particular need of piano, bass, drums, and percussion. The time commitment starts with rehearsal at 3:00pm through the end of Life Teen Mass around 6:00pm. Must be comfortable reading lead sheets and committing to play every weekend. FRIDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY


Join us Friday, September 9th as we begin our study for the Fall. We begin with a Pot Luck Dinner starting at 7:00pm in the RCIA room in Bldg. B. We will be studying The PAPACY. This study is by Stephen K. Ray and R. Dennis Walters. We will also be watching a video by Stephen Ray which is called Peter Keeper of the Keys. FALL REGISTRATION FOR THE PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION AND LIFETEEN PROGRAMS
Registrations are being accepted for the Parish School of Religion (PSR) Classes for PK3 to 8th grades and also, the Life Teen program. Classes begin Sunday, September 11th for Pre-K and Monday, September 12th. for K-8th grades.

ATLANTA ARCHDIOCESAN COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN 55TH ANNUAL CONVENTION 9September 9-11, 2011
We hope you will join with other women from the Archdiocese coming together to pray, grow, share and be open to Gods call to serve. We will have two Masses, rosary service, workshops, speaker and a business meeting. It will be held at the Wyndam Conference Center in Peachtree City, GA. GREAT ADVENTURE BIBLE TIMELINE 2.0 BIBLE STUDY FOR MEN AND WOMEN
St. Andrews will offer Jeff Cavins THE GREAT ADVENTURE Bible Timeline Study 2.0 video series beginning Tuesday mornings in September. This is a course that will put all the details of the bible into a format that you can remember and that makes sense. With great practical aids, spiritual insights, and humor, Jeff Cavins uses his gift for teaching to bring out the meaning and power of this ancient and ever new book. The course is Tuesday mornings from 1011:30am, beginning September 13. Because there are 24 sessions, we will start, then break for the Christmas season, and finish in the spring. $45 fee for materials. The 2.0 edition has new graphics, improved sound and HD. MARIAN PILGRIMAGE WITH FR. KETTER 17October 17-21, 2011


Join Fr. Dan Ketter from St. Jude the Apostle on a spiritual journey in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The trip will take us to Washington, DC and Emmitsburg, Maryland, where we will visit the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and the National Shrine of our first American-born saint, Elizabeth Ann Seton. Our days will also include Holy Mass, praying the Rosary, opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and praying the Liturgy of the Hours. We will join the seminarians at Mount St. Marys for Eucharistic Adoration and Mass on the feast of St. Luke and will have an opportunity to spend an evening with some of our own seminarians from the Archdiocese of Atlanta who are studying at The Mount. St. Andrew's is seeking a skilled, passionate, and motivated Music Minister. The applicant must be flexible, be familiar with both traditional and contemporary music, and a practicing Catholic. PADRES La matricula para el curso escolar 2011-2012 esta abierta. Es necesario que se inscriba lo antes posible para reservar su lugar ya que el cupo es limitado. Todos los alumnos tienen que registrarse (aunque hallan asistido el ao anterior) y presentar copia del certificado de bautismo. Despus de Agosto 28 habr una multa de $10. El costo del programa es de $50 por nio y $70 para los nios que hacen la Primera Comunin este ao. Pago completo o un deposito debe acompaar su inscripcin. Horario. Clases comienzan el domingo 11 de Septiembre de 5:00 pm a 6:15 pm seguidas por la Santa Misa que es parte del programa. Primera Comunin Mayo 12 a la 1:00 pm.
-Estar registrado en la iglesia tres meses antes del bautis mo. Asistir a misa regularmente. - Inscribir al nio/a y traer copia del certificado de nacimiento. El nio/a no debe ser mayor de 7 aos de edad*** (ver explicacin mas abajo.)-Padres y padrinos deben asistir a una charla pre-bautismal.
