"KHILAFAT WHY AND HOW?

The Need of "Khilafat" and "Amarat"
The Great Last Prophet - Mohammad (Peace be upon him) was
born in the year 571 A.D (20th April corresponding to 9 Rabi-ul-Awwal
on Monday). As forty years of precious age passed, in the same month
of Rabi-ul-Awwal, continuous good tidings culminated. In address of
Angel Gabriel (Rooh-ul-Quds) which started Prophet-hood and in the
same year, at the end of month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak, the revelation of
Quran ("Karim") - revelation meant for recitation ("Wahi-e-Mutlov")
began to send down step by step. It is admitted fact, beginning of Wahi
(Revelation) and revelation of Quran ("Karim") occurred on Monday as
well. The book of Allah Quran Karim carries first lesson of unity of God
("Tauheed") only and only this. This lesson (of "Tauheed") was taught in
Mecca for continuous 12 to 13 years. But the residents of Mecca did not
accept it. Finally Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) left Mecca
for "Yathrab", as per command of Allah on 27th of "Safar-ul-Muzaffar (in
the 13th year of Prophet-hood) corresponding to 12th September
(Thursday) - reached Mosque of "Quba" in the first year of Hijra, on the
12th of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal on the day of Friday, the Prophet
(PBUH) started his next journey riding on camel back, from "Quba"
(Mosque) and reached residences of Bani Salim and delivered first
Friday sermon (as ordered by Allah) also said Juma prayers afterwards,
on the same day he entered "Yathrab" which was renamed as "Madina-
tun-Nabi". He spent ten years of Prophet-hood in "Madina-tun-Nabi" in
the 11th year (on 29th of Safar-ul-Muzaffar - the day was Tuesday while
returning from funeral prayers to his residence, he developed Head-ache
which was caused of his ultimate death. This head-ache lasted 13 to 14
days and on 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal (Day being Monday) after Zuhr
prayers, he breathed his last, leaving this temporary worldly abode for
permanent abode of here after (Inna Lillah-e Wa Inna Elai-hi- Rajioon)
May Allah bestow all blessing on Mohammad and his Progeny (Family).
This was the day, that though final bath, funeral arrangements and
burial was kept pending and Khilafat and Amarat of Sayyedena Abu
Bakr Siddique (May Allah be pleased with him) was declared and due to
the fall of night, the next day after completing funeral arrangement, the

funeral prayer was led by Abu Bakr Siddique and Prophet (PBUH) was
laid to rest in the purified grave. The critical situation, in which selection-
cum-election (of Abu Bakr Siddique) was made, is enough for the reader
to ponder that "The issue of Khilafat" carries enough importance for
collective (group) life in Islam and also this point what is Khilafat? It is
clear that "Khilafat" (In Islam) is central and federal Government
nomenclature which is selected by Allah (Mighty and Glorious) and after
seal of Prophet-hood on Mohammad (PBUH), the system of Khilafat was
ordained - which was promised and its need and importance was
mentioned in clear terms (in Ayat No. 3:139).
"Faint not and nor grieve, and you will overcome if you are
(indeed) believers" and at another place, it is ordained (47:35 Surah
Mohammad) "So do not falter and cry out for peace, when you (will be)
uppermost and Allah is with you, and He will not grudge (The reward of)
your actions."
"The above worthy Ayats of Quran-Karim" clearly explain that
Islam is propagating one centre (and Millat). This centre may extend and
embrace all populace of this world and remaining attached with this
centre, its population may be divided in as many provinces.
Just think, the chain of Prophets and Messengers ("Nubuwatt and
Risalat") started with Hazrat Adam (A.S). The narration of all Prophets
and Messengers in Quran, clearly explains that each Prophet was sent
for some specific nation ('Qaum') and inhabitation till Hazrat Isa (A.S)
was sent in the Bani-Israel nation and addressed Bani-Israel but the last
great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was earmarked for all nations of the
world of his times and wherever human-being and humanity is found
there the Prophet-hood (of Mohammad (PBUH) is applicable and
enforced it is still in existence and would remain so till end of times
whosoever accepts your Prophet-hood and considers any other claimant
of Prophet-hood (after Mohammad (PBUH) as liar ("Kazzab") naturally
and automatically find himself attached to this centre and this is further
authenticated by this fact that he finds himself attached with Khilafat
(and Amarat) which was established after this great and last Prophet
(PBUH) and one this Khilafat was kept alive in a series of succession.
Further more "The institution of Khilafat (and Amarat) remains
incorporated (in succession) and this continuity is essential for collective
body-polite of Islam (similar to other things which are essential to keep
alive the life supporting things.

As mentioned earlier, the institution of "Khilafat" was established in
the year 11 (Hijra) with the appointment of first caliph i.e. Sayyedena
Abu Bakr Siddique (May Allah be pleased with him). This institution of
caliphate passed through many periods but it had kept it's identity in
different phases though its ideal form was not retained. But still its
central position (in any living history of that time) was enough to keep
identifying the Muslim nation as a distinct nation (In the comity of other
nations), the Muslim nation was a living identity due to the institution of
caliphate. Otherwise also, whenever any other nation or group of nations
(in unison) endeavored to efface (this institution of caliphate) they had to
cut a sorry figure. Despite the fact the Muslims got entangled within their
own ranks and the Muslims got weak in their character building norms,
and even centre of caliphate was shifted at times and with different
nomenclatures and their occurred differences of opinions and some
Independence of power structures, but still Muslims were recognized as
a living nation till the end of ottoman caliphate (in Turkey) in the comity
of nations of this world. This end of caliphate was legally enforced in
1923-1924.
From 1924 to 2011 period, though their exist 55/56 Muslim-States,
but their stamp of authority is minimal in the comity of other nations. A
fact which is no secret Muslims wherever they live, are confused (and
feel scattered ironically in the whole world, they are identified and given
names of terrorists and destructionists, (and the tragedy is) that at most
of the locations, they have got entangled within themselves. At every
place and in each country, they are (now) passing life (at most) with the
support of other nations. Though considering Muslim population
(Globally) and areas under their jurisdiction, natural resources they
possess and mental and intellectual capabilities they are endowed with
they are not falling behind any other nation, even today. All other nations
of the world have employed all machinations against Islam, but still got
defeated and humiliated in the process and finally have reached to this
conclusion that as long as Muslims Cherish ideology of Caliphate and
Amarat and one central rallying (Idea of Millat), victory against Muslims
is not possible. Leaving aside all others options, these nations aborted
this line and in the end, they were successful in this scheme (i.e. to
abolish institution of caliphate) now the result is that Muslims are passing
through such a sorry state of affair. There is not a single voice (person)
in "Muslim Nation - All included", which can be considered to invite them
to "One centre and one Millat" or at least admit that all Muslims should
essentially have one "caliph" (Khilafa or Amir). Though till we achieve
this goal, the "Dead Muslim Nation" is virtually without spirit. A nation
which has come to this pass, that every 10th person has elevated

himself to the post of permanent caliph (or Leader / Amir) or has
cherished dream of such an eventuality to achieve or occur, and all his
efforts day and night are directed to achieve this "Post," then how he can
call (others) to one rallying centre - A united "Millat" centre strangely,
those who have adopted such names, have manipulated all such saying
of the Prophet (Nabi-Ul-Karim) in their own favors - Though these
sayings were directed in favor of caliphate (and Amarat). If their own
version (of caliphate) is not recognized), these elements condemn and
curse such persons in those terms where the Prophet had apportioned
for the second claimant of this office of caliphate in the presence of
already existing first caliph and in the process, they condemn to hell all
such opponents. It is obvious such elements would not strive to establish
the office of caliph (Khilafat and Amarat) and (way) and (how) would they
do this act as such an activity would destroy their own (self-made) claim
(to the office of caliphate) and further more we see that if someone in his
innocence utters such statement all these different claimants (of
caliphate) and propagants of it, despite difference in their own ranks,
make life miserable for such an innocent person by directing all their
energies against him. At this very moment, specially in our country, this
is one platform where all these (heterogeneous elements (or most of
them) rally together to compel this person or his ideology to drop (kill)
this idea till the end when he is finally spared - though till a permanent
centre of caliphate (and Amarat) is established, there is no question of
achieving useful fructuous results of one collective life pattern.
My dear brothers once again look at the past and ponder in which
society the Prophet Mohammad the great and the last (PBUH) was
raised. It is crystal clear that in Mecca and his life history in Mecca all
tribulations he received at the hands of these Mecca dwellers - all these
- were exemplary till they forced him to evacuate Mecca. Prophet
Mohammad (PBUH) emigrated to Madina from Mecca. With all such
treatments, the "Qibla" in Mecca (Baitullah-House of God) remained
centre of worship for these new Islamists. The most important Muslim
prayer ("Salat") is performed with face directed towards this very Qibla
(At Mecca) as a compulsory directive and it is ordained (In Quran) that
"Oh ye Muslims, wherever you are and in whichever state you be, your
countenance must be facing / directed towards this "Qibla" why was it so
directed? Because it is pivotal centre of your unity (unison (of Ummah)
and all the rest of the world should realize that centre of unity - rallying
point - is only one (i.e. this very Qibla) other Mecca (i.e. House of God -
being located there) is centre of world population - which is declared as
"peace / security station". For all living persons of this world and this
caliphate - association and attachment with this very centre is one of the

main guidance for all Muslims. In other words, whichever Islamic
Government take up responsibility of protection of House of God "Harm
Baitullah") and "Harm of Prophet Mohammad" - naturally becomes
centre of caliphate - and that very Government will be the real claimant /
rightful owner of the institution of caliphate (Khilafat and Amarat) and all
the other Islamic States (provinces) would be subservient to this centre
of caliphate and this very original real and factual message is conveyed
through annual performance of ritual of pilgrimage to this House of God
(Bait-ul-Lah).
Today after passage of 87 years, all Muslim world is passing life
without any (centre of) Khilafat and this life is such a nature that it is very
disgraceful to call it life even. Presently so-called Muslim States number
57 or 58 (Mentioned earlier) in the comity of nations of this world but
none of the state, which has come into existence in the name of Islam, is
ready to initiate proceedings (i.e. to declare Khilafat) in the regard and
that not due to this that it is afraid of those cruel elements which
engaged in cruel maneuverings, terminated the symbol of Muslim unity.
These elements still keep watchful eyes in this matter, and as soon as
any tongue moves on this issue, they chase his out of this world like a
hair which is passed through a cake of butter but to what future designs
would they follow this game? We are not addressing Islamic states but
want attention of masses / general populace of these Islamic States that
they should get out of slumber in the name of Allah and in the name of
His Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). These masses should convince their
Governments, but more compel them, that these Governments should
rise up with honest dedication / intentions and accept Governments of
the Centre of Islamic (symbol) as caliphate centre.
Iqbal Says:-
"Eik Ho'n Muslim Haram Ki Pasbani Kay Liya"
Muslims all over the world should get united as one force for the
protection of Bait-Ul-Haram (Qibla). There is no dearth of people who
are given the nomenclature of "Followers of Islam" (Ahle-Islam) or
"Followers of one God (Ahle-Islam) or "Followers of one God (Ahle-
Tauheed) and these are "Ahle-Tauheed" who are more closer to the
Central Government of Modern Times that very Government which is
protecting the very centre of unity of followers of Islam. Therefore we
declare with all force at our command, all "Ahle-Islam" and "Ahle-
Tauheed" carry obligation on their shoulders, that wherever they be
located, they should stand / rise up to revive this movement and

accepting the watchful Government of "Bait-Ullah" (House of God i.e.
Qibla). As the real "Khilafat and Amarat" and in the process should
compel their respective Govt's rulers to get attached with this (central)
Government and should declare this Govt. as Federal Govt. of the world
of Islam and every external Muslim Govt. should have seal of it's
authority approved from this central Govt. In this way what we observe
as rebellions and revolutions in Islamic States would automatically come
to an end. As such revolutions would be interpreted as rebellions and to
crush such rebellions, there would be an authority delegated to the
Federal Govt. (i.e. Centre of Khilafat) from all the member Islamic States
(Provinces) and this federal authority ("Wifaaq") would counter such
moves in real earnest. It is thus obvious, that there would be one
defense mechanism of all the Islamic States - The real and basic
defense - with the result that no single Islamic Province can launch or
undertake any illegal activity against the other Islamic State. In this
process this fundamental central Govt. and the Provinces would not
require artificial support of Non-Muslim nations and wherever such
situation even exists today, our above mechanism would cater for to
tackle such any eventuality and God-willing end (Foreign Rule / Support)
it.
In short, in Islam the station of institution of "Khilafat" is pivotal and
it is not something which can be ignored / pushed aside and Muslims as
a nation can not derive those benefits which accrue to them by
remaining within this main stream of central and national life-line
(Khilafat system). If it was so possible, then all the companions of the
great and last Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) - may Allah be pleased with
them - should not have delayed the burial ceremonies to first get
nominated the caliph or could have delayed nomination / selection
procedure of the caliph to first cater for the burial of Prophet Mohammad
(PBUH). It must be kept in mind, that presently existing Islamic Govts.
(Which are established in different countries (and areas) are not
equivalent of this Khilafat (i.e. Federal Govt.). Therefore all the network /
web woven (regarding these plethora of so-called "Khilafat and Amarat"
stations by different schools of thought, (just to dangle their own version
i.e., their own self-styled school of thought) on each Islamic State, can
not, equally so, be any near equivalent of this (Federal Govt:- The real
Khilafat) more so, the existence of different groups (Pretending different
schools of thought) in collective living of Islamic structure, is itself poison
to kill. This is the major reason, that Muslims are living a disgustful life in
comparison with other comity of nations of world, despite possessing
natural resources and being good in population strength as well and
even these Muslim States are targets of conspiracies / and mutinies from

within and without. I appeal to all religious guides and leaders, that they
should give cool thought with cool mind to my proposal - i.e. by
disassociating themselves from their own (manufactured) respective
"Khilafat and Amarat" platform, they join "Movement for restoration of
Khilafat" (Tehreek-e-Khilafat) by activity driving with full effort and force,
even to the extent of personal sacrifices to keep it kindliness, till against
all odds of maneuverings of our enemies, we all succeed in re-
establishment of the institution of Khilafat (Nizam-e-Khilafat). In the
process of change / revolution, the "Supervisory and protective Govt." of
"Haram Ka'ba" (House of God at Mecca) be selected as Federal Govt.
truly representing "Caliphate" (i.e. Khilafat and Amarat). So that Muslim
nation can re-gain its lost prestige and glory / honor amongst the comity
of nations. Therefore I humbly plead before public of Muslim-Nations-
hoods, that if they consider my analysis / discussion (As laid down
above) as a factual reality ("Haq") and "Haq" it is in all genuineness, they
should convince their (so-called) leaders with all humbleness and
respect, that they should retract their steps back to the path of "Haq" and
what is this path of astraying when "Haq" is evidently manifest and these
(Self-manufactured) leaders of Islam are, in reality, sincere with Islam
and well-wishers of Muslim-nation, then they should not delay the issue
any more, as we are already losers in the realm of time - Muslims are
behind times as a whole. May Allah and join our efforts.
"Though I was a wrong word in one page of life, but when I stood
and rose up, that when I effaced other print presently, Muslim-Ummah
(Muslim community is facing one issue/problem interpreted as issue of
Al-Qaida and Osama Bin Laden. This and similar to this other Jihadi
Movements which are in clash with present Pakistan Govt. and issues of
Kashmir and Palestine and complete independence of other Islamic
States, has only one solution - Possibilities be explored (in as early time)
that "Muslim-Ummah" gets linked with one centre (and Millat). All
Muslims should unify themselves and get united under command /
actions of one central authority. If this aim is not achieved, then in near
future, Muslim Ummah would face such losses / damages which would
not be fulfilled in (leave aside count in twenties) hundred of years even
please keep in mind, this dear country named Pakistan Here in
particular, peace and prosperity is only possible in the guidelines /
system detailed above by this humble person otherwise there is no other
shortcut solution which can Usher an Era of goodness and security
whosoever / whichever party though takes up reign to rule. God-willings,
time would validate my assertion.

(Note:- This essay is just a thought (ideological theory / plan). Its
details would be very long. If there is agreement on this basic
"Ideological scheme" ("Nazriyah"), then it would not be anymore difficult
to thrash out details.
