BIG IDEA: It is Ok to Be Different

SCRIPTURE: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28 (ESV) MATERIAL: Puzzle (Pass out one piece to every child present) Have you ever known anyone who seemed different? Maybe they were new to school and came the first day using a crutch. Maybe they wore their hair different than your mom would let you. Possible, they brought the same thing to lunch every day of the week. You may have noticed their clothes smelled, or that they wore a hearing aid. It is ok to be different! Jesus came for all people of all nations, and from all cultures. Just because you may eat hot dogs every meal, and your friend likes mashed potatoes and roast beef, does not mean you are not cool. The piece of puzzles that you have in your hand will be different than the one in the persons hand beside you. However each one is important! When God sent his Son, Jesus, to die for the sins of the whole world, he included the Jews, Greeks, African Americans, Caucasians, Native Americans, and everyone else (Add any names of kids present from any other different culture). It will take every piece of puzzle that you all have today to make one complete and beautiful

picture. That is how God feels toward us He wants all of us, and is making us a beautiful heaven! We are all equal in Gods Sight. We all have equal privilege to belong to Jesus, and enter heaven some day. He provides his protection and blessings to all of us. He loves us all the same. God does not love my any better than he loves you. He has given his life in order that everyone has an opportunity to go to heaven. No one is excluded. There is ONE condition we must confess our sins, tell Jesus we are sorry for our sins, and ask him to forgive us. He will!
