Guidelines on the First Consultation of Relay Protection and Automation Engineers in the Energy Sector (Draft) Purpose of Consultation: With flourishing scientific and technical development, microprocessor and programmable logic controller based equipment is widely used as a result of adoption of digital technology in relay protection and system automation of electric systems. On the other hand, these facilities now require modernization due to obsolete relay protection and automatic equipment of our electric systems and insufficiency of spare parts and materials. Considering these circumstances, we are about to hold this consultation in order to help engineers improve their knowledge of this aspect at the request of enterprises, economic entities, and engineers.
