IMPORTANT
A Parallel port interface K-400 is requires for the programming of this kit. Do not expose this device to direct sunlight or to extreme temperatures. Do not use or store this kit anywhere it might get wet as this could cause a malfunction. This device contains small parts. Do not leave it within the reach of children. Adult supervision is recommended when the device is being assembled because it requires soldering. Always use a soft dry cloth in order to clean. You must have circuit soldering skills to avoid damages in the printed circuit. Use a 30W soldering pen.

Before beginning the assembly of this kit, it is necessary to have a pencil type soldering iron and soldering solution. Adult Supervision is recommended during assembly. 1. Place the displays in their respective positions (DA1-DA4). Check the position of the #1 pin and solder the terminals on their underside and cut off the excess metal. 5. Place the DB9 connector in its respective position (J1). Solder the terminals on their underside and cut off the excess metal. 6. Place the transistors in their respective positions (Q1-Q4). Solder the terminals on their underside and cut off the excess metal. 7. Solder the power cables in their respective positions (BT1). The power input voltage is 5 volts.

1. Never connect the 7 segment display kit K-405 to the computer if the 7 segment display kit K-405 is connected to the power source. 2. Make sure the 7 segment display kit K-405 is powered off. 3. Once the 7 segment display kit K-405 is connected, make sure its supported by a non-conducive surface and that this surface is free of any elements that may cause a short circuit in the PCB circuit. 4. Make sure that the power cables are well connected and that the power source is correct at 5 regulated volts.

Antes de utilizar su nuevo Kit C Display Numrico K-405 lea este instructivo para evitar cualquier mal funcionamiento. Gurdelo para futuras referencias.

Se necesita tener la Interfaz de Puerto Paralelo (K-400) para programar eL Kit Display Numrico K-405. No exponga el equipo a la luz directa del sol o a temperaturas extremas. No use ni almacene el Kit Display Numrico K-405 en lugares donde pueda caer agua, puede causar mal funcionamiento. El Kit Display Numrico K-405 contiene partes pequeas, no lo deje al alcance de nios pequeos. Se recomienda la supervisin de un adulto cuando el Kit Display Numrico K-405 vaya a ser ensamblado ya que se requiere utilizar soldadura y cautn. Siempre utilice un pao suave y seco para limpiar el Kit Display Numrico K-405. Se necesita tener habilidades pra soldar circuitos electrnicos para evitar daos en el circuito impreso. Usar un cautn de 30 watts. Nose recomienda un cautn de mayor energa.

INSTALACIN
Antes de comenzar con el armado del Kit Display Numrico K-405, es necesario que cuente con un cautn tipo lpiz y soldadura. Se recomienda la supervisin de un adulto durante el ensamblado. 1. Coloque las resistencias de 330 ohms en las respectivas posiciones (R1 R7). Solde las terminales por la parte inferior y corte los excesos de metal. 2. Coloque las resistencias de 1K ohm en las respectivas posiciones (R8 R11). Solde las terminales por la parte inferior y corte los excesos de metal. 3. Coloque el circuito integrado en su respectiva posicin (U1). Verifique la posicin del pin 1. Solde las terminales por la parte inferior. 4. Coloque los displays en sus respectivas posiciones (DA1 DA4). Verifique la posicin del pin 1. Solde las terminales por la parte inferior. 5. Coloque el conector DB9 en su respectiva posicin (J1). Solde las terminales por la parte inferior. 6. Coloque los transistores en su posicin (Q1 Q4). Solde las terminales por la parte inferior y corte los excesos de metal. 7. Solde los cables de alimentacin en sus respectivas posiciones (BT1). El voltaje de alimentacin es de 5 Volts.

OPERACION DEL KIT DISPLAY NUMERICO K-405

1. Nunca conecte el Kit Display Numrico K-405 a la computadora si el Kit Display Numrico K-405 tiene conectado el voltaje de alimentacin. 2 . Asegrese que el Kit Display Numrico K-405 est apagado. 3. Una vez conectado el Kit Display Numrico K-405, asegrese de que est apoyado en una superficie no conductiva y libre de cualquier elemento que pueda causar corto circuito en la placa (PCB) del Kit Display Numrico K-405. 4. Asegrese de que los cables de voltaje de alimentacin estn bien conectados y que la fuente de poder tiene el voltaje correcto de 5 volts regulados.
