The Fruit of the Spirit: Goodness

Goodness is being honest and having good integrity.


Write about a time when you were honest even though it was difficult.

Goodness is showing kindness to those who are mistreated.


Write about a time when you were kind to someone who was mistreated.

Goodness will be polite toward the elderly when they tell the same stories over and over.
Share a story that your grandparents have told you many times.

Draw a picture talking with your teacher or friend.

Goodness is always modest. It does not brag!


Write three reasons why you should not brag.

Goodness will be gracious when someone interrupts your conversation.


God wants us to have a humble spirit.

Goodness will show good manners and refrain from taking the biggest of something.
Draw your table at home and place the plates and cups on it.

Goodness will be sincere in telling someone they are sorry when making a mistake.
Write a prayer telling God you are sorry for something that you feel He would want to hear.

For the Fruit of the Spirit consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth (Ephesians 5:9)
Write something that you learned in this lesson. Say Eph 5:9 to two friends.
