After many years of fruitful activity in the Natural Gas Industry TA has decided to concentrate its expertise in this segment of the market taking a new line of products into the market. TA Valves are ball valves that synthesizemany years of experience in the use of ball valves in the gas industry with a cost effective global sourcing. Products are state of the art Ball Valves in Floating Ball and Trunnion Mounted versions, manufactured under strict compliance with internationalstandards under ISO9001 Quality System and with API 6D qualification. Many years of experience in the use of ball valves in gas systems are a guarantee that what we bring to our Customers is a product that will fulfil their needs for the most demanding applications. Floating Ball Valves are manufactured with concepts of ease of operation and long lasting sealing performances in gas service. Trunnion Mounted Valves are suitable for the most demanding applications in gas and oil service. Standard features like double block and bleed, self relieving seats, bi-directional operation are associated with extremely reliable tightness under most severe process conditions, low operating torques for cost effective actuation, high quality standard in the selection of materials. Valve is equipped with locking devices at the full-open and full-closed position, a padlock may be installed in either position in order to prevent wrong operation of the valve.

Blow out-proof Stem Construction

A zona inferior da haste apresenta uma salincia no qual, o topo do interior do corpo faz o alojamento, impedindo sua expulso e adicionando em caso de incndio, um selador metal-metal, impede fugas do fluido.
Design anti-esttico

The lower part of stem is shouldered and the stem is installed from the inner of the body. This construction makes blow out proof the stem and generates a metal to metal sealing after fire.
Anti-static Design

Durante a sua operao em um servio de gs seco, pode acumular-se eletricidade esttica na esfera. O dispositivo anti-esttico garante um potencial uniforme em todas as partes da vlvula, desta forma evitando fascas.

During operation in dry gas service, static electricity may build up on the ball. The anti-static device guarantees a uniform potential in all valve parts, therefore preventing sparks.

Secondary metal to metal seal (body and cap connection)

A conexo do corpo e da tampa est selada por uma junta. A selagem metal-metal tambm se apresenta como respaldo da primeira selagem em caso de fogo.
Desenho prova de fogo

Body and Cap connection is sealed by a gasket. Metal to metal seal is also provided as a back up of primary seal in case of fire.
Fire-proof Design

O desenho prova de fogo obtem-se com uma selagem metal-metal secundria entre a esfera e o corpo. Esta condio gerada durante a apario de fogo, mediante a destruio da primeira sede suave. Esta regra atende com os requerimentos prova de fogo, conforme as Normas API6FA ou API607.

Fire proof design is achieved with a secondary metal to metal seal between ball and body. This condition is generated during fire occurrence by the destruction of the primary soft seat. This arrangement conforms to the fireproof requirements of API6FA or API607.

A faixa T-P no solo se relaciona com o material do corpo, sino tambm com o material da sede, do empacotamento e da junta. Os materiais de selador esto feito de polmero ou borracha, e a seleo do material selador depende do lquido, da temperatura de funcionamento, da presso e da velocidade do fluido. Portanto, diferentes faixas de T-P so tpicos para combinaes de diferentes materiais. Os seguintes diagramas se baseiam em uma faixa T-P de ao de carbono ASTM A216 WCB. Incluindo faixas de T-P do material da sede da vlvula tanto para PTFE virgem como para PTFE reforado. Incluindo faixas de T-P para cada tamanho de vlvula. The P-T rating is not only relating to the body material, but also to the material of seat, packing and gasket. Sealing materials are made of polymer or rubber; and the selection of sealing material depends on the fluid, working temperature, pressure and velocity of flow. Therefore different P-T ratings are typical of different material combinations. The following diagrams are based on a P-T rating of carbon steel ASTM A216 WCB. Valve seat material P-T rating is given for both Virgin PTFE and reinforced PTFE. P-T rating are given for each size of valve.

As vlvulas esfera guiada (tipo Trunnion) esto equipadas com duas sedes auto-ativantes, cada um vedam montantes da vlvula e ambos podem selar se forem pressurizados desde ambos os lados acima da cavidade da vlvula. Portanto, a vlvula completamente bi-direcional.
Duplo bloqueio e drenagem

Trunnion mounted ball valves are equipped with two self energized seats; each seat is sealing upstream of the valve and both seats may seal if pressurized from both sides toward the valve cavity. Valve is therefore completely bi directional.
Double Block & Bleed

Devido as duas sedes independentes, o duplo bloqueio e drenagem so caractersticas padro das vlvulas esfera guiada TA (tipo Trunnion). A cavidade do corpo est isolada da linha tanto na posio aberta como na fechada. A cavidade do corpo pode ento ser ventilada / drenada para ajustar-se aos requerimentos do processo. Ventilar a cavidade do corpo possvel, substituio das vedaes da haste principais da vlvula quando se est a baixa presso. Tambm pode examinar-se periodicamente o fechamento da sede mediante a cavidade da vlvula principal quando a vlvula est baixa presso.

By virtue of two independent seats double block and bleed is a standard feature of TA Trunnion mounted ball valves. The body cavity, is isolated from the line both in open and closed position. Body cavity may then be vented / drained to suit process requirements. After venting the body cavity replacement of stem seals is possible while the valve is under pressure. Seat tightness may also be periodically checked through body cavity while the valve is under pressure. A

Self energized seats are also acting as a relief valve for the body cavity. Any build up of pressure in the body cavity is relived to the low pressure side of the valve.
Fireproof Design

As sedes da vlvula se fazem de maneira tal que a destruio do selo suave durante o surgimento de fogo afetando a unio da vlvula. Os selos de respaldo metal-metal esto disponveis em sedes e hastes que se ativam em caso de destruio dos selos suaves. Seu funcionamento est de acordo com os Padres API6FA e API607.
Injeo do material de sede.

Valve seats are made in a way that destruction of soft seals during a fire will not affect the valve tightness. Metal to metal back up seals are available on seats and stem and are activated in case of destruction of soft seals. Their performance is in accordance with API6FA and API607 standards.
Seat Sealant Injection

Est disponvel um sistema de injeo do material da sede, para provocar uma reativao temporria do selo da sede em caso de dano durante o funcionamento. Este sistema permite a injeo de graxa de alta densidade, atravs de uma bomba de alta preciso, nas sedes da vlvula permitindo assim a reconstruo das superfcies do selo depois de reparado o dano sofrido pelo desgaste.

A seat sealant injection system is available to provide temporary reactivate of seat sealing in case of damage during operation. This system allow injection of high density grease, by means of a high pressure pump, into the valve seats therefore allowing the reconstruction of the sealing surfaces after a damage or a wear out.

O selo da haste se baseia em um duplo O-ring tanto no lado esttico como no dinmico. Esta configurao garante uma alta durabilidade debaixo dos mais restritos requerimentos anti-contaminao.

Stem seals is based on double O Ring both in the dynamic and static side. This configuration guarantees long lasting performance under the most stringent anti pollution requirements.

Em caso de instalao subterrnea, as extenses da haste podem ajustar-se a vlvula sem nenhuma troca. Tambm possvel o auto-ajuste da extenso de uma haste em uma vlvula instalada sem tirar a de servio.
Operao suave

In case of underground installation, stem extensions may be fitted to the valve without any change. Retro fitting of a stem extension on an installed valve is also possible without taking it out of service.
Smooth Operation

Utilizam-se elementos anti-atrito em todas as superfcies deslizantes da vlvula. Esta garante baixa frico e um movimento suave, inclusive depois de intervalos longos sem operar.
Acionamento

Anti friction elements are used in all valve sliding surfaces. This guarantees low friction and smooth movement even after long intervals without operation.
Actuation

De acordo com o torque de operao requerido as vlvulas possuem alavanca ou caixa redutora. O acionamento das vlvulas pode ser realizada em qualquer momento, atravs do flange guiado e adaptadores.

According to the required operating torque the valve are supplied with wrench or gear box. Actuation of valves may be done at any time using mounting flange provided and adaptors.

Faixa de Temperatura-Presso | Pressure Temperature Rating

A faixa T-P no solo se relaciona com o material do corpo, sendo tambm com o material da sede, do empacotador da junta. Os materiais do selo so feitos de polmero ou borracha, e a seleo do material selador depende do lquido, da temperatura de funcionamento, da presso e da velocidade do fluido. Portanto, diferentes faixas de T-P so tpicos para combinaes de diferentes materiais. Os seguintes diagramas se baseiam em uma faixa T-P de ao carbono ASTM A216 WCB. Incluindo faixas de T-P do material da sede da vlvula tanto para PTFE virgem como para PTFE reforado. The P-T rating is not only relating to the body material, but also to the material of seat, packing and gasket. Sealing materials are made of polymer or rubber; and the selection of sealing material depends on the fluid, working temperature, pressure and velocity of flow.Therefore different P-T ratings are typical of different material combinations.The following diagrams are based on a P-T rating of carbon steel ASTM A216 WCB. Valve seat material P-T rating is given for both Virgin PTFE and reinforced PTFE.
