FEDERAL PROTECTIVE SERVICE RECRUITING TRIP (7 SEP 11) (CAMP PENDLETON) Who, Federal Protective Service of DHS. When: 7 September, 2011 from 0900 to 1600. Where: Camp Pendleton CA. 92055, Bldg 63122 Task Force San Mateo about a half mile north on the right side. You will see on the left side of the street a large statue of a hand, palm open upwards. The 62 area just a few hundred yards south does have a gym and a few facilities where you can change when you get here. I recommend staying in the northern area near the base in the town of San Clemente, if youre coming from out of town. Must have a federal resume, proof of an honorable discharge dd form 214 or a Statement of Service from the command just as if you are getting a VA home loan. You will need BIR/BTR or other MOL docs showing campaign ribbons and passing a recent Fitness Test, cover letters, letters of recommendation, SMART or VMET transcripts optional. If you are injured, bring a favorable prognosis from a medical doctor that you will return to full duty in the very near future. There is no upper age limit, but you must be 21 years of age to apply. The program kicks off on September 9, 2011 and will run every Friday from 0750 until 0910. The requirements/events are as followed: The uniform of the day is the utility uniform. The program consists of PT with the fifth graders at 0800. After exercising we play games with them. Games consist of playing duck duck goose, kick ball, relay races, and many more. There is also the Mentorship portion where the Marines and kids from K-5 get time to know each other and make a difference on the kids life. The partnership between Sandburg and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11 has been for 30 years now.
