TECS College Recognition Ceremony

The Spring 2011 College of Technology and Computer Science Recognition Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 2:00pm in Minges Coliseum. Doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony and tickets are not required to attend.. Graduates must arrive in Minges Coliseum between 1:00 1:30pm to check-in. Come early to meet and visit with department faculty, staff, and your fellow students. Lineup will begin at 1:30pm. The procession will begin promptly at 1:55pm. Cap and Gown will be required for all the graduates (MS students will need their masters hood as well). This event is expected to end in one hour. See below for helpful information and links.

Parking Information Individuals may park on campus in any A, B, or C parking areas without parking permits on Friday, May 6, 2011. All other regulations remain in effect, e.g. no parking, handicapped, service/maintenance & etc. Individuals needing accessible parking may park in any of the accessible spaces if they have a state issued placard or distinguishing license plate. University Commencement Ceremony


The University Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2011 in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The ceremony begins with the processional at 9:00 am. Graduates should check in at Gate 2 under the south stands at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium by no later than 8:30 am to line up for the processional. For more information or details about the university ceremony, please visit www.ecu.edu/commencement. This ceremony is truly a wonderful event to attend. It really makes you feel like you accomplished something. It is not every day you earn the right to walk at a university graduate ceremony like this. Be sure to attend this University event as well!
