LIGHT BRINGS SIGHT

Light brings sight, and Jesus is the Light. Many times as we are planting seeds of truth, we wonder why the person we are talking to cant understand. It seems so very simple to us. They dont understand the three world ages. They dont realize they may have a destiny. God has a plan. Unfortunately, many are handicapped in understanding His plan. How can we help them see the truth? Lets begin our study in the Book of Romans. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit Itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. This Scripture is written to the saints, Gods election. The Holy Spirit helps us, when we run into something we cant handle. God makes things easier for us. Romans 8:27 And He That searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Our will really isnt important. Gods will is important. We need to stick with His plan. His plan saves people. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Dont ever forget this verse. Do you love God? Then all things work together for good. This doesnt mean you will never be in a difficult situation, but God will never give you more than you can handle, (I Cor. 10:13). Romans 8:29 For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. God foreknew the elect in the first earth age. He also predestinated them to be jointly formed to the image of His Son. We have a lot going for us. Jesus shows us the way. He is the Light. All things work to our good. Romans 8:30 Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. Gods elect were judged in the first earth age. That is the reason many of you dont have free will. God can move you where He needs you to be.Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? The answer is no one. They may try, but we are going to "take names and kick dragon". It is written, and that is exactly how it is. We have the victory. Turn with me to the Book of John. Maybe this will help you have more patience, when you run into a blank look while planting seeds. You make a simple statement, and they just dont get it. They need to understand the three earth ages, that God has election, and that God wants the rest of His children to find salvation. And He utilizes you to bring that salvation to others. This is light, and this is truth. John 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man which was blind from his birth (2) And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?" This man is symbolic of Gods election. Jesus is going to give him sight as God has given you eyes to see truth. John 9:3 Jesus answered, "Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. This man was blind from birth to illustrate to us how Jesus can give sight, if we will absorb His Word. John 9:4 I must work the works of Him That sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. (5) As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." Be patient with your brethren who cant see the light. They dont understand the three world ages. They havent been told that many of Gods children have a destiny. Help them see the light. John 9:6 When He had thus spoken, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. A little of the Living Water, a little clay from which Adam was formed, and the touch of Jesus will allow this blind man to see. Light brings sight. John 9:7 And said unto him, "Go wash in the pool of Siloam," (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. This blind man was sent to illustrate that God is on the throne, and He is in control. God will utilize His election just as He utilized this blind man. Dont ever

complain about being used to accomplish His plan. Thank Him for eyes to see truth so that He can utilize you. John 9:8 The neighbors therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, "Is not this he that sat and begged?" (9) Some said, "This is he." others said, "He is like him: but he said, "I am he." (10) Therefore said they unto him, :"How were thine eyes opened?" Never before had one born blind been given sight. They were having a hard time believing it had happened. John 9:11 He answered and said, "A man That is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash and I went and washed, and I received sight". The blind man obeyed and received his sight. This also has a spiritual meaning. When we obey, we receive eyes to see the truth of Gods plan. We are then able to help others find the saving grace of God. John 9:12 Then said they unto him, "Where is He?" He said, "I know not." (13) They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. (14) And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. Uh-oh! This wont sit well with the religious leaders. Jesus healed on the Sabbath. Now the blind man could see, and it was the Pharisees who were blind. John 9:15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, "He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see." It was that simple. Gods plan is always simple. John 9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, "This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day." Others said, "How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?" And there was division among them. If you tell some religious leaders today that there was an earth age before this one, they are going to call you a sinner. Does that bother you? I hope not. I would hope you are well founded enough to know that all things work to good for those who love God. John 9:17 They say unto the blind man again, "What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes?" He said, "He is a prophet." (18) But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight. The parents had witnessed nothing, and they are going to be afraid to get involved because they might be excommunicated by the leaders of the church. John 9:19 And they asked them, saying, "Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? How then doth he now see?" (20) His parents answered them and said, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind: (21) But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself." The parents want to be left out of this. Their son was a grown man, and they encouraged them to ask him. John 9:22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that He was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue. It would have been the luckiest day of any church members life to be excommunicated from that church. In that church we would find the blind leading the blind. John 9:23 Therefore said his parents, "He is of age; ask him (24) Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, "Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner." How many points do you think they were making with God? They were calling His only begotten Son a sinner. John 9:25 He answered and said, "Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see." The blind man knew one thing for certain. He could now see, and the Pharisees couldnt take that away from him. I hope you have that same attitude, dear ones. You have eyes to see and ears to hear, and no one can take that away from you. The Pharisees will eventually excommunicate this man who was blind, and he will accept the Lord as his Saviour. He that could not see had his sight, and those who could see were spiritually blind. Today, we are reaching many who were spiritually blind, but now they can see Gods truth. What a blessing. In closing, turn with me to the Book of James.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Lights brings sight. All good gifts are from our Father of lights. When He gives gifts, they are given without repentance, (Rom. 11:29). He doesnt change His mind. James 1:18 Of his own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. (19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: God begat the elect as a form of firstfruits so that we can bear fruit, Im speaking spiritually of His children that couldnt see, but now can. He has a purpose for you. "The harvest is truly plenteous, but the labourers are few", (Matt 9.37). James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. and the seed falls on deaf ears, forget about it. Dont become angry. When you try to plant a seed

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. (22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. To only hear the Word is to waste the Word. Those who only hear the Word are deceiving themselves. James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a g lass: (24) For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. When you stand before a mirror, your image can be seen in the mirror. But when you walk away from the mirror, the image is gone. Hearers soon forget the Word. James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Do you want to be blessed? Then be a doer of Gods Word. You have been given eyes to see. The light has brought sight to you. Do all you are able to bring that light and sight to others. Blessings will follow. In His Service, Arnold Murray
