An Intelligent Network Service that provides:

• Mobility, use the service through the same subscription to

make calls anywhere anytime.
• Control and centralize your phone expenses, assign credit
to each sub account.
• Control the type of calls each sub account can make.
• Access the service from a public fixed telephone line, a
private fixed telephone line and through a cellular phone.

1 Suscription=10 Sub accounts

Based on Subscriptions, the service gives up to 10 Sub accounts each one representing
an active, configurable, independent account to make calls.
Created to give control over the amount of used credit, the service gives as well plenty of
configuration options, available on each sub account.
- Maximum amount of credit.
- Traffic case restrictions.
- White List.
- Combined credit restrictions.
- Local access restrictions.

For each subscription through the use of an administrator sub account, the service allows
the user to assign credit, change PIN and activate sub accounts.
The services handles 2 different types of subscriptions, commercial customers and resi-
dential, based on that, the service allows to configure parameters such as, max credit amount,
max number of active sub accounts

Accessing the Service

The service is accessed through an 1800 number, the service once accessed prompts a
message requesting the subscription number to the user.

Security
The service gives up to 3 opportunities to introduce an existing subscription, once the
limit of tries to give an existing subscription number is reached the service plays an announce-
ment and ends the call.
Once an existing subscription has been introduced, the service asks the user for the sub
account PIN, using a configurable parameter, the service gives up to that number of tries to
give a right PIN before the subscription is blocked.
The same checking is performed by the service when is performing PIN change opera-
tions and new sub accounts activation.

Traffic Cases
The service can be used to establish up to 9 different traffic cases calls, all the traffic
cases can be restricted or allowed on a sub account base, it also have the possibility to used
up to 5 numbers in white list, this is; if a traffic case is restricted and a number corresponding
to that traffic case exists in the white list, the call is allowed by the service.

Traffic Tables
Tables as Traffic Cases, Numbering plan, Long Distance Point of Interconnection and Lo-
cal Point of Interconnection are used by the service.
All the tables information is stored as shared features, they can be accessed for other
services.
A Migration and Maintenance shell/java tool is provided to load and maintain these tables.
A GUI web-based interface is provided as well.

 Charging
Upon the establish of each call the service checks for available credit, based on that and in the
operator configurable traffic case tariff, it calculates the amount of time the call can last, the
service gives warning messages before the credit is consumed.
Once a call is completed, the service writes down to database the amount of used credit. And
it generates a CDR with Tag Data.

Database
SDP based applications for subscription storage.
The service handles SDP redundancy, for each access, the service can switch over to a differ-
ent SDP in case of fatal failure.
Using 2 SDP applications the service distributes the data for the subscriptions and the sub
accounts.

Web Interface
The service provides a graphical web-based interface to create, activate, and modify sub-
scriptions, through it, the operator can control all the subscription data as well as the service data,
traffic case tariff, counters, max credit amounts.
