A. Context
In the context of integrating the ICT Profile for College Students into a course, a discipline or a program, InukTIC allows you to:
edit a personalized profile, i.e. select the elements of the ICT Profile that have been chosen for integration; assess students ICT skills and follow up on them (Export results).

B. Creating a new profile


1. Log into your ITREP account by clicking on Log in.

2. Click on Create a profile.

3. Educational institution: The institution you selected when registering will appear here by default. 4. Profile: Choose between 1) create a new profile, and 2) modify an existing profile.

5. Name your new profile so that it is easy to find among all the personalized profiles. For example:
Course number + course title Program number + academic term

6. Enter a description of the profile. 7. Click on Save.

C. Editing a profile
1. Once the new profile is created, a table appears that is the same as in the Find resources section. You can now check the elements you wish to keep, and uncheck those you do not want to include in your profile.

2. Once you have finished, click on Save. 3. The selected elements will appear in the Assess your skills section.

4. The complete name of the personalized profile will be: Institution Profile name
E.g. : Vanier - TES

IMPORTANT
When you uncheck a subskill in the Profile, all declining sub-skills will also be deactivated.
If I uncheck 2.1.
2.1.1, 2.1.2, etc. are also deactivated. Learning and collaborating with ICT

D. Testing the new profile


1. To test out your selected profile, click on Assess your skills.

2. Select the profile you have just edited by clicking on Change profile.

3. Select your profile in the Profile type field and click on Save at the bottom of the page.

4. Now you can check if everything is working by clicking on Assess your skills.

E. Exporting results
1. Choose a profile from the Create a profile menu.

2. Click on Export results. This generates a .csv document that will open in your default spreadsheet program (e.g. Excel).

3. Delete the columns that are not present in your personalized profile.

4. A numerical value is assigned to each level of performance:
sub-skill not assessed by student with constant help with occasional help without help, but inefficiently efficiently and without help 0

IMPORTANT Only students who have chosen your personalized profile at the time you generate the report will appear in the Excel file. Save the Excel file in the 2007 or 2010 version; the 2003 version has a maximum limit of columns.
