WORD OF LIFE HUNGARY Prayer Requests

Pray for our new students as they study Gods Word this year. The Bible Club starting once again in our home for the neighborhood children. Pray for generous hearts who will support the WOLH Bible Institute Solid Foundation Scholarship Fund. Pray for Paul as he leads the Bible Institute team. Pray that enough staff members would volunteer to disciple our students individually. Pray that the Lord will use us daily for His glory.

September 2011 Ministry Update

Our Largest Class Yet!

The Word of Life Hungary Bible Institute class of 2011-12 is officially our largest class ever! With 57 students total, we are preparing for a busy year ahead. However, it is nothing God cannot handle; in fact, it is an answer to prayer! Throughout 2011, our Bible Institute staff has been praying for a new enrollment of 50 students, and the Lord certainly answered our prayers beyond what we could ever imagine! The Opening Weekend Conference of the Bible Institute was very exciting. Our guest speaker was Pastor Tom Teal, from Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch, Michigan. He encouraged our students and staff to fall in love with Gods Word through his messages on Psalm 119. It was a great start to the Bible Institute year. The first week of classes always includes Personal Evangelism and Street Evangelism. The focus is for the students to be able to share the Gospel, first and foremost. practice! During those two afternoons, everyone who is a part of WOL Hungary leaves the classroom and office behind to evangelize in the city. This year we saw 13 salvations as a result of our faithful students and our gracious God. Praise the Lord! It is not about the numbers: 57 students or 13 salvations, but it is what those numbers represent: changed lives and disciples of Christ! What a blessing it is for the Weavers to serve the Lord through the Bible Institute ministry in Hungary!

We have been blessed with 23 Hungarian students this year, a gigantic answer to prayer! However, every one of these Hungarian students is in need of financial help to pay his or her school bill. Would you prayerfully consider a donation towards the WOL Hungary Bible Institute Solid Foundation Scholarship Fund? We are asking supporters to give just $5 a month towards Eastern European students tuition. $5 a month may not seem like a lot of money, but it can go a long way in helping our students as they study at the Bible Institute. Daniel: Understanding the End Times

Word of Life Hungary Bible Institute is offering its first ever distance learning course to the general public. Now you can experience the Bible Institute for yourself; no plane ticket necessary! Sign up today, and join us as we study the Book of Daniel through the teaching of prophecy conference speaker, Dr. Jimmy DeYoung. Correspondence students will participate in Dr. DeYoungs class and receive full course credit upon completion of the assignments. The Book of Daniel is more than a miraculous story of the lions den. It is packed full of biblical prophecy about the end time events. Join the Bible Institute class as Dr. DeYoung brings the book of Daniel to life, and interprets current events in light of biblical prophecy.

Heres how it works

STEP 1: Course Sign-Up
Email admissions@eletszava.org to sign-up for the course. After paying the $20 course fee, well send you a WOLHBI flashdrive, preloaded with everything you need to complete the course. All proceeds go towards the BI Scholarship Fund. Watch the 10 hours Dr. DeYoungs Daniel course, recorded as video files on the flashdrive. Complete the corresponding assignments and take the exams.

STEP 2: Assignment Completion

STEP 3: Course Review

Email your completed assignments and exams to admissions@eletszava.org. Wait for your course grade and completion certificate.

Summer Ministry
In addition to their normal Bible Institute responsibilities, Paul and Jill were able to participate in different ministry opportunities throughout Hungary and Europe during the summer months. Jill was a volunteer English teacher at the Word of Life camp in the Czech Republic and in Hungary. The Czech camp was particularly challenging because it was a new culture and language. Jill felt like a brand new missionary all over again! It was exciting to use English as an opportunity to share Christs love with the campers in Czech and in Hungary. Paul was invited to Serbia this summer as the guest speaker at a youth retreat. He had a wonderful time getting to know the Serbian young people and challenging them in their walk with the Lord. He also promoted the Bible Institute, of course!
