Do not pull the panel too far away from the door, as some components still have wiring harness connected

Detach any necessary wiring connectors and remove the door panel from the vehicle

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Insert a flat-bladed tool between the door panel and the rear edge of the power window switch plate to disengage the retainer from the panel. Slide the power window switch plate forward, then label and detach the wiring connectors.

Remove the power door lock switch plate retaining screw. Remove the switch plate and detach the wiring connector. Remove the pull handle retaining screws. Using a thin-bladed tool, carefully pry the courtesy lamp lenses off. Remove the courtesy lamp bulb. Pinch the courtesy lamp retainers and pull out the lamp socket holder. Detach the courtesy lamp wiring connector. Remove the door panel retaining screws. Using tool J-2459B or equivalent, disengage the door panel fasteners from the holes in the door. Detach any remaining wiring connectors and remove the door panel.

To install: 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. Position the door panel close to the door and attach the wiring connectors. Align the door panel fasteners with the holes in the door. Push in on the door panel to install it to the door. Install the door panel and pull handle retaining screws. Install the courtesy lamps and switch plates. Connect the negative battery cable.
