Founding Fathers Tea Party Believe

We believe we must win the war on terror because our governments most sworn duty is to keep its citizens safe. We believe in limited government because a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit will keep our economy strong and provide more opportunities for workers and families. We believe we must build an innovative economy to compete in the world because we can compete with anyone, thanks to our entrepreneurs and risk -takers who keep us on top of technology and commerce. We believe the government must practice fiscal responsibility and that individuals should keep more of what they earn. We believe the best government is the one that governs least and all of our dignity and freedoms be recognized. We believe in strengthening our communities so our children can realize the American dream. We believe in protecting the family as a base and role model for an ever changing world. We believe equal rights, justice and opportunity apply to all regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.

TSPLOST-RAIL/BOB ROSS SPEAKS MORE ON TSPLOST/PEACH PASS

The Pro MARTA groups are stepping up their promotions of the great wonders a rail system will do for the metro area. Pro MARTA people tout areas where citizens can eat, work and play. I dont know about you but I dont want to eat, work and play in the same area. Seems it would grow old pretty quickly. They will also tell you how you can take the bus/rail system anywhere and leave your car parked at home. One must ask a few questions? How far do I walk to the bus? How long do I wait for the bus to run? When I board MARTA how close do I get to my destination? How much more walking is involved between modes of transportation? Will my suit look wilted if Im walking on a hot summer day? Am I going to be soaked during a downpour? What if I get ill during the day and there are no buses running at that time? Here I am ill, sitting on a bus bench, ready to throw up...a perfect target for a panhandler or thug to relieve me of my personal belongings. Sounds like a fun day to me; how about you? Were going to pay how many $Billions for this fun project? We will have the pleasure of listening to Bob Ross of Fayette County discuss the future problems we will encounter with TSPLOST. Bob is an informative and knowledgeable speaker on the abominable tax being promoted during the worst recession since the great depression. You will leave the meeting an informed citizen! Lets see if Ive gotten this right? My tax dollars have already paid for I-85, I also pay about 40 cents tax per gallon of gas for maintenance and now Georgia is going to bless me with an additional tax that ranges from 10 cents to 90 cents per mile to ride on the road my tax dollars help pay for. Do my representatives love me or what? From where I get on I-85 I could pay an additional self imposed tax of $13.50 one way to get downtown. Thats a bargain tax any elected official Ive ever known would love!
