A social issue in India that concerns you & How can YOU make a difference?

I would be happy, if the topic is The Social issues in India that concerns you as it is very difficult to point out a particular issue to be concerned about.. From small time clerks to the high profile politicians, commissioners, police inspectors, traffic police, stock exchange brokers, military establishments, recruiters, sportsmen, judiciary and most of the government employees, corruption is seen and felt in every transaction from bottom of the chain till the top. Corruption: Yes, i found that corruption in India is found to be major issue and root cause for many other issues like poverty, hunger, instability, insecurity, failure of institutions and So on What is So-Called Corruption? I define corruption as omnipresent HIV Virus which advertently or inadvertently invites all other diseases like poverty, unemployment, instability and so on due to the deficiency of immune system System of Indian Government. Real disease is the lack of complete political empowerment of the people. Who encourages Corruption? I strongly assure that our system encourages corruption. And the vested interests have been so powerful and brazenly dishonest, they are challenging the rest of the society, you and me with which We will remain dishonest. I need not say where the corruption is taking place as whole India is covered with the mist of corruption. Most of them have a first-hand experience of paying bribes or influence peddling to successfully complete jobs in public office. India is torched with the matchstick coated with corruption. What is the aftermath of Corruption? Person who corrupts forget its drastic effects on society Money leaves the hands of people of poor and vests in the hands of people of power and thus leading to poverty. Corruption and poverty is like the chicken and the egg. Poverty keeps people disempowered and that leads to more corruption. Corruption in marriage in name of dowry is another brick in the wall that leads to emotional reactions like cynicism, pessimism, fear and so on.. This conversation took place between me and my friend when we were on an overnight bus journey from Chennai to Coimbatore. Friend: Hey, this bus conductor is my landlord. Me: Excuse me?? Friend: The room that I have rented in Shimoga? Me: What about it? Friend: Well, this guy is the owner. In fact, he owns the entire building. He stays in the ground floor, and he has let out one other house and three other rooms on rent. Me (impressed): Wow, he must be corrupt beyond my wildest imagination. How else can a bus conductor make so much money as to build so many houses!! Friend: Hmm . I wouldnt fault him though. Me (sarcastically): You wouldnt. Could you be so kind as to explain? Friend: He has four daughters. The eldest is married and two others are now of marriageable age. He belongs to a caste where the dowry demanded is in the region of five lakh rupees. How

else could he afford to get his daughters married? He is even going to sell most of his property to raise the money required for his second daughters marriage. It took me some time to digest that. I fell silent for I did not know whether to ask a question or state my opinion on the matter. I wonder if the corruption canvas in our country would have had completely different hues had it not been for that element of dowry. Practically speaking ,Families dont ask for dowry , but they will look for a girl who could bring forth it to the marriage. Guys, I have a question for you; how many of them are really dare to stop accepting dowry from your bride, or dare to send your wife back to her home, if she brings forth the same??? Whom to be blamed????Brides family who volunteerly gives dowry merely for the sake of social status or the grooms family that accepts it??? We need a system that encourages honesty and discourages corruption. Corruption at education has major impacts on illiteracy. It has reached the point of absurdity. This begs the question..why? In private schools and colleges, the administration is dependent on donations and endowments and the financial performance of these funds to help subsidize the operations of the organization. When i joined my UG, they collected the fee more than what we are supposed to pay (as per University fee structure). There my mom asked universitylaye counseling moolama varavangaluku 43,000 dhane, neenga mattum yen 56,000 collect panreenga? He coolly replied indha collegela seat kidachadhe periya vishayam, pesama feesa katitu ponga We dint talk anything after that, because none other than us have raised a similar question. But everyone had the rights to ask, but people are not ready; they blindly pay the amount. Whom to be blamed???? Institution or the coward people??? Income tax Corruption What if the authorities are not collecting tax properly but teaching you how not to pay tax in exchange of money? Give me 2,000, and i will misplace your file Recently happened in my uncles home. Whom to be blamed???? The Income tax officer or my Uncle??? RTO Corruption What could be the reason behind many two wheeler and four wheeler accidents????? We cant escape by blindly blaming the fate, even there corruption plays a vital role. How many people who drive the car with License is a good driver??? If i have the amount that the RTO officer corrupts a single day, I would pay my house rent. Whom to be blamed???? RTO officer or the driver??? IT Corruption Let me come to our industry..How many of us including me (to be Honest) pay the tax regularly ???No answer right???? Whom to be blamed???? :) We must clean the house, before we clean the society. Politics Corruption The recent scams involving unimaginably big amounts of money, such as the 2G spectrum scam, are well known. I am sorry, i dont want to increase the intensity of sewer smell in my blog further:) Facts :

Google says India tops the list for black money in the entire world with almost US$1456 billion in Swiss banks ($1.4 trillion approximately) in the form of black money. Wiki says More than trillion dollars are stashed away in foreign havens, while 80% of Indians earn less than 2$ per day and every second child is malnourished. It seems as if only the honest people are poor in India and want to get rid of their poverty by education, emigration to cities, and immigration, whereas all the corrupt ones, like X (i am confused whom to mention as a biggest corrupt)are getting rich through scams and crime. When we start something against corruption or do something unusual , very interesting thing is many think we have gone nuts.Crazy people!!!!!!!!!!! Never mind.. I think controlling population should be the first step to bring up the quality of life and thus lesser competition and effective control of people and government processes. However feasible solutions are to impart moral principles in schools, and introduction of stringent audits, accountability, effective tracking of corrupt individuals through citizen cards or tax ids. Everyone MUST learn discipline and patience. We seem to want things quickly done. Thats the reason why we make a lot of wrong decisions because we act before thinking. So let us all unite together, act smartly with enormous enthusiasm to fight against corruption. BEST SOLUTION IS DONT GIVE ANYTHING AND DONT ACCEPT ANYTHING FOR THE THINGS TO BE DONE!!!!
