COURSE OUTCOMES: At the end of the course, the students should be able to: 1. describe the learning theories that present a rationale for using different teaching strategies in Commerce classes; 2. discuss and apply the nature and knowledge of Commerce including its applications and practice in everyday life; 3. develop a comprehensive instructional plans using a variety of teaching strategies in the teaching of Commerce. 4. identify and use a variety of journals, resource materials, references, and technology pertinent to the Commerce curriculum. 5. develop an assessment plan to be used to evaluate students progress during Commerce lessons; 6. gain skill in diagnosing Commerce learning difficulties and prescribing learning activities to resolve those difficulties. 7. prepare themselves with the skills and expertise required in the area of ICT and smart school concept in teaching of Commerce.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this course is to provide a clear understanding on the teaching and learning theories that present a rationale for using different teaching strategies in Commerce classes. The course will undertake to develop comprehensive instructional plans using a variety of teaching strategies, resources and other relevant skills in the teaching of Commerce.

(d) Mid Term Test A written test covering topics 4 6.
