Please acknowledge that you have completed all required documentation by placing an X next to
each item. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Submit completed application and accompanying documents by deadline Extended to Friday, October 14,
2011 by 5:00 pm EST.
Submit two letters of reference (each submitted in a sealed envelope)
Submit one page essay -- Topic: The Role of Miss University of the District of Columbia at an Urban Land
Grant University.
Acknowledge that to be eligible for the position you must meet and maintain the criteria for the position and be
enrolled full time in a four-year degree program for the full academic year (Fall 2011 and Spring 2012)
Have earned at least 27 credit hours towards a four-year degree program at UDC
Meet and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (attach unofficial transcript to application)
Has no outstanding financial obligation(s) to the University (attach a copy of student account printout from
myUDC account).
Attend and support all student activities leading up to the activities associated with the Miss UDC process (i.e.
preparation workshops, meet and greet activities, attendance at athletic events, and the Miss UDC Showcase,
rehearsals, etc.)

workshops and showcase rehearsals as posted. Time(s) and date(s) will be announced.
Failure to attend and adhere to the guidelines of the selection process will automatically
eliminate you from the Miss UDC process. Please submit the completed application and
